Although I haven't got to give sewing a try due to my old sewing machine needs repair because it sews sloppy under the inside and my Serger I have to try and figure how to work again but one day I will let you know how that turns out at a later date in one of my ratings."That's how I will be able to stay in touch with all of you.For now the Cd I did view it and it is really great and I can't wait till I can sew again.I just have been so busy crocheting my sons scarves and making turtle necks and typing out my journals that I am making on Alternative Medicine as well as my Gardening Journal and Crafts one.Lately I have been studying on how and when sow seeds that I have saved and to do companion planting, inter-planting"Like vertical and horizontal by the moon that gives the plants their full strength through growth of spring cold crops through warm summer crops through cold fall crops.Last Fall I just got through dehydrating all my crops and canning some..So I will keep in touch on the sewing and sergingthx againmedicine

I don't like tissue fitting. I also don't really understand the "wrinkles" theory of alterations. And I really don't like cutting my patterns up. What I liked was that these professionals made numerous fitting changes on the partially constructed garment as they went along. I always felt like I had failed if something didn't fit the first time I tried it on. This video actually made me realize that ITS OK to make corrections along the way to adjust the fit the way I like. The trick is to start with enough seam allowance to give you wiggle room.

I've watched this 2 DVD set several times to supplement the standard pattern instructions for making jeans. This set shines in the area of adjusting the pattern to fit. It takes you start to finish through the whole process of pattern fitting, pin fitting and construction for one person, then more quickly through the process again for two more people. This really helped all the the fitting strategies sink in. It is strongest in the area of fitting, with very basic instruction about sewing technique and construction.

This video offered all the information I needed to fit and sew a pair of jeans to fit my challenging figure. Some of it was redundant and a little tedious but it covered everything I need to know to get a good fit.

This is an excellent DVD that will guide you step by step as you make custom-fit jeans. Even as an advanced sewer I found this to be a valuable addition to my library. It's great for sewers of all levels!

I've being sewing for a long time, but this video was very informative for me I really liked it and I'll view it over and over.

Palmer Pletcsh tecnique makes sewing and fitting patterns to your body so easy. Marta is very easy and clear in her instructions and the pictures and DVD's are so easy to follow. I am taking a Palmer Pletsch class and met Patti Palmer who is who nice.

I never cease to be impressed by the Marta Alto/Pati Palmer team - they go through the process of tissue fitting and then fabric fitting the jeans step by step in an easy to undestand format. I recommend that you buy this!!

le cd offre la possibilité de renouer avec la réalité de la couture. Chaque conformation corporelle a moyen d'obtenir un pantalon qui tombe gracieusement. mais on verra aussi que mouler les fesses , ce qui est typique du jean, ne conviendra pas à toutes! donc sur cet endroit du corps, il faut perdre ses illusions, il faudra parfois une coupe un peu plus "pantalon classique". mais au moins, les personnes fortes des hanches auront un pantalon seyant. LEs livres des mêmes auteurs sont également à conseiller. (en anglais)

excellent tutorial

This item requires two people with a lot of sewing experience to be able to fit a garment. I thought from the description you would be able do use the skills by yourself. This is not for the average sewer.
