I love the look and feel of Parker pens, however, they always seemed a bit small for my hands. The XL version is the perfect size for me, and practical enough for EDC. The XL comes in really nice colors, you will definitely find one that suits your style. If you can find them on sale, these are a steal for the reliability and feel of a premium pen that doesn’t break the bank. Highly recommended.

Based on value for money, the Parker Jotter is the best ballpoint pen on the market, by a significant margin. It's also the best on the market based on every other factor I can think of, but I understand that others hold different perspectives.I thought the Jotter was beyond improving, but the XL proves me wrong.Don't worry, they didn't "re-imagine" it and screw up the pen's simple, sturdy perfection. They literally made it just slightly longer and wider, and added a bit of texture to the barrel.If you're a devotee, you know that Parker changed the Jotter's barrel from plastic to stainless steel some time ago. To my mind, this was a mistake because it reduces friction on the pen's barrel. If your hand sweats or moistens, it's more inclined to slip. Somehow, perhaps by working with the substance used to color the steel barrel, Parker came to a decent solution, so the pen retains tactile adherence, and it's easier to grip.With the XL, the whole barrel is very lightly coated with a material that gives it the texture of, say, rough craft paper. It doesn't change, only seats the fingers stably. It's just right, a surprising and judicious way of adding utility to a classic design, while retaining its many other cherished features.The one downside; the pen arrived with an ink cartridge that went dry very rapidly, after about a week. The cartridge appears to be a genuine Parker product, the pen was boxed and sealed like new. But I have only rarely experienced a Parker ink cartridge going dry on me -- they're usually incredibly durable and stalwart.So that stinks. Could be worse, but it's not great -- the pen's not cheap, and the cartridge is clearly a product of the Parker company, so it doesn't quite square with expectations.Aside from that though, you just can't go wrong with a Parker Jotter, and this new iteration, the XL, maintains its reputation.

I collect Parker Jotter pens!When I found out they made a larger version, I just had to get one too see the difference.The Xl Parker Jotter is WORTH every penny!The size is way bigger and the quality is great!The barrel is wider and heavier. The hole quality of the pen is better than their regular jotter.This pen so.impressive it is great for a gift!It feels.expensive and writes beautiful for a ball pointI just recently purchased monteverde blue/black gel ink in bold. They work for Parker G2 pens.The ink upgrades the Xl for those who do not want ballpoint.I am.impressed and anyone who loves the regular Parker Jotter but wished it was bigger, you will love the Xl Parker Jotter.

I like Parker pens, and Parker ink. They don't usually blot which makes them my pen of choice. The ink flows well. I like that the pen is metal, and I can buy refills for it. I own several.

I've always liked Parker pens. I hadn't used one for a long time & when I did recently it seemed very small.Much to my surprise they now make an xl version which fits my hand better. They seem to be made a little cheaper than years ago but what isn't these days.But it still writes very nice. At least that hasn't changed. Still a fan of Parker pens.
