Georgia Grinders Premium Nut Butter, Pecan

This Pecan Butter is terrible. I grew up (age 5- 20 ) in a pecan grove of over 50 trees and 4 or 5 types/sub-species of pecans, such as Stuart, Seedling, Curtis, & others; hard and paper shell pecans with different flavors and textures to an extent. Now I buy pecans all the time to eat raw and I know and love that pecans are loaded with healthy fats. To me pecans are almost a perfect fat. I love them. This has nothing close to a pecan flavor I am aware of and its got 3-4 times as much fat as almond butter, peanut butter and it is ridiculously awful it texture and taste. I hate that this did not meet my needs or desires. It is not worth the excessive price; but worse it not worth it being free. I have refrigerated and stirred and given it multiple chances to be acceptable to taste, eat use etc. I can't stand it or take it. I am throwing away 2 jars because I will never want to eat them. It is like they have totally rotten or not acceptable pecans they could not sell raw and they decided to use those pecans as a pecan butter to get rid of them. Pathetic .

I discovered pecan butter at St. Simon's Island on the Georgia coast a couple of years ago, and it happened to be from Georgia Grinders. I have since stuck with the same brand, because it is really tasty. You'll have to give it a hearty stir when you first open the jar in order to get the separated oil to mix back in with the rest of the mash. Then stir it again whenever you open it back up. Thanks for a most excellent product!

Tastes exactly like when I make my own homemade with raw pecans that I toast. So nice to be able to buy it and not make it all the time.

This is an awesome product! It is a bit runny but I just stirred in some chia seeds to thicken it. The taste is soooo good!

I have been obsessed for about a year now with this brand. Perfect consistency. Low carb and delicious! Don’t be alarmed if it’s mostly liquid when it arrives; just stir and enjoy.

This is a great nut butter that I can eat all by itself. I love that there are no other ingredients than Pecans and salt. Just a good source of nutrition. I love Georgia Grinders products.
