They're pretty and do the job. For what they cost they are very nice. Do they require wiping? Yes. If you buy a very nice set of brass coasters, you will still be wiping them down,.. often. You will also pay A Lot More. These were pretty inexpensive, all things considered. I may buy a few more sets. So far, no complaints and they go well with my french country bedroom decor.

THESE COASTERS ARE GORGEOUS! I got them for my sister as a birthday gift and she loved them. They look so elegant and they had rubber on the bottom so that they don't move around or scratch your table. The only thing that sucks is that they show finger smudges very easily so handle them carefully.
