We all know how technology can make you feel dumb but this book helps by providing a simple easy to understand option to feeling dumb. Great grandma sometimes has a question and her elderly son isn't so tech savvy. But this book is the perfect toolFor him to help her do what she wants to do on her iPad. He reads instructions to her and the figue it out together :)WORTH EVERY PENNY !!!! Now she gets to chat with great grand babies around the country and connect with old friends . And candy crush ... Brilliant

I bought my 70+ y.o. computer illiterate mom a refurbished iPad for Xmas and figured I'd try to get her off to a good start with a step by step book as well. So far the book seems to be a good guide, though the main complaint from her is the small print. I hadn't thought of it, but it does make sense that a step by step book for seniors might be better with larger type setting... But then again I'd imagine it would have to be twice as big.

Good book. It helped me with some things that other books didn't. Be careful what OS you have,as the OS7 and OS8 systems are different, of course, and answers correspond from differentbooks to the different systems.Also, type is nice and large, and easy to read. Some instructions I get with some productsrequire a magnifying glass! Not this one.

Timely delivery and excellent condition.

I bought this for my parents along with an iPad air. They are not technically sophisticated (i.e., have a hard time understanding all the functions of a flip phone and are only minimally proficient on email and google searching) and I thought the book would help them understand the iPad. But the book was too long and too dense to be of much help. They felt intimidated by how much there was to know about the iPad. I think a much simpler, step-by-step guide with practice tutorials would have been more helpful. In the end, I returned the iPad and donated the book to their retirement community. This book would be very helpful to someone who has used an iPhone and is looking to understand the iPad. But if you are new to smart phones and tablets, this book may be just too daunting.

This book is another recommended by AARP. It's easy, clear, readable and focused on what you want to do. It has step by step instructions, large, color photos, common sense help and tips and notes.

Even though the title was a bit grating on me, I guess it is the truth. :-) My son saw this and sent the suggestion I read it. Thanks SON!!!!! It's a GREAT book and easy to follow. Just don't understand why they don't have it in BIG PRINT for us "SENIORS"!!!!!!

Ignore the patronising title"...for Seniors", this is a book for all ages. It's written in the same clear manner with good illustrations as the QUE book for the Samsung Tab 2 [Android]. I bought this book as my granddaughter's school iPad had the browser hijacked and I didn't have any idea of how to sort it

It was more helpful than some other trivia I have read on the topic; actually, I do recommend this book to first-time ipad users.

Goood delivery time. Nice book which is easy to understand and well laid out. Obviously does not and cannot include everything but covers most things you need to know.
