Yes, they actually are great for tight teeth and awkward trouble spots!
I bought these for use on my extremely tight back teeth, and I have to say that they actually DO work well for tight teeth. I also have some dental work that makes flossing in the back of my mouth nearly impossible and these Go-Between Cleaners have made a huge difference. The last time I went to the dentist for a cleaning, I was told by the hygienist that it was obvious my dental work was impeding my teeth cleaning, because there was a lot of tartar build-up specifically in that area. Not being able to floss that area or even use a traditional pick, I wasn't sure what I could do (I use a Water Pik, but apparently it can't get those hard to reach trouble spots). So, I took a chance on these Go-Betweens and I'm already seeing a huge improvement. At first, my gums were a little swollen after I started using them because I was poking them with the tip of the device (there was a learning curve), but now that I've been using them consistently I perfected my technique and this problem disappeared. In fact, a few days ago I noted that my gums were no longer bleeding in that trouble area after cleaning them, and overall feel much better. Not only do these work well with tight teeth, but they are also good for awkward positions since the head is flexible and can be bent to an angle that makes accessing difficult to reach areas much easier. I'm happy to help if you have any questions, and if you found this review helpful, consider leaving me feedback below, I'd really appreciate it!

Used them for years and restored the health of my gums
My hunch is these are more effective than dental floss, though I use both. I keep a medium and a small one in a shot glass filled with hydrogen peroxide, which I also add to the water in my Water Pic, and use as a dental rinse. I've been using that dental routine for many years and the result is my gums have returned from deep pockets to be in perfect shape! Note: hydrogen peroxide degrades in daylight which is why it comes in a dark brown bottle, so if you're using it in a shot glass for Proxabrushes, you should periodically change the peroxide in the shot glass. Best place to buy peroxide is a dollar store.

I was given samples of the tight size after my last cleaning showed impending gum problems. That size works for about half of my teeth, so I ordered the ultra-tights. These work for all but 2. I wish they were a tad smaller. The brush goes in easily but I have to work to get it out between 1 set. All in all, I am very impressed with what they pick up after flossing. Who knew so much gets left behind? I will have another checkup after 3 months use and will report the results.Update 1/18/17: I obviously forgot to do my 3 month update! My next cleaning wasn't until April and the difference was amazing. Coupled with a Water Pik water flosser, my gums became good again. By last October the hygenist was thrilled at how much things improved. I use them every night and have no pksns to quit.

Plaque be gone!
I bought these specifically for my bottom front teeth, which are slightly V-shaped and have always been a problem area for me. I had the regular tight brushes before, which I liked. These are almost too small for the small gaps in my front bottom teeth. These brushes are for extremely tight teeth, so i feel they slide too easily in my gaps - idk, we shall see. As for using them on all teeth - I can't. I can only fit these in the bottom 9 front teeth. (But I wasn't expecting more than that).Bottom line - these brushes work!! The quality is very good! I bought a cheaper version, which I could only re-use for a couple of days before the wires bent. These, from GUM hold up very well! The wire hasn't bent and I'm able to re-use for a number of brushings! I love them. I will never be without them ever again, tight or extremely tight.

My favorite intradental dental brush
These are my favorite interdental (between teeth) brush cleaner. I have tried several other brands, some were too much metal and not enough brush, were too tiny (difficult to hold), some had no cover. I needed to find a product that IThese are very comfortable to use, and have greatly improved my ability to clean between my teeth. In fact, my dentist could tell the difference—a substantial improvement, and asked what I was using to improve the cleanliness between my teeth! I told her I was using these Proxabrushes while watching TV in the evening. The only drawback is the price, but the value in terms of the effectiveness of these brushes, far outweighs the cost.

Great for outdoors
I purchased these to have with me while camping, hiking, kayaking, etc. I'm picky about my dental care but it's not always feasible to brush and floss after every single meal in the great outdoors. For that purpose, these work great. For my teeth/gums, this particular size is still a very tight fit. I spoke with my dentist about this at my last appointment and he mentioned to be careful because they can actually cause your gum line to recede. He said that if I encountered any resistance to not use these between the teeth where it's tight. So while these are great and a good deal, I'm still carrying around floss sticks for the tighter areas.

Maybe not any smaller
The product seems to be of high quality, but the ultra-tight size/guage feels no different from the "tight" size, i.e., they don't fit between teeth any better if you have extremely close-spaced teeth. If you're concerned about recycling you should know that a great deal of plastic is used in packaging and product construction. Don't think it can be recycled.

GUM "trees" for Gum Health
I find these far better than floss, although they take some time to get used to. I recommend starting with the thinner size and working up to wider ones. GUM now makes a handle and you can insert the brushes individually. This is cheaper and the long toothbrush like handle is easier to manipulate. I recommend buying a couple of different width brushes (I call them "trees") and then invest in the handle and more "trees" of the right width for you. My dental hygenist got me started on these because i have bridgework - they work very well here. I also have spaces between my molars that get popcorn (bad I know), nuts etc. in between my teeth. It's amazing how much my "trees' remove after I brush my teeth.
