Nearly perfect
Edit 2018-12-29: Updating back to 5 stars. The earlier issues are so minor compared to the build quality of this keyboard.Edit 2017-11-24: sadly I had to take off a star: the ;:, .>, and right alt keys fail to light up. Actually what seems to be happening is when you press those keys, it's lighting up the ones to the right of them, like those ones are doubly mapped. The best thing about this keyboard is the many lighting modes, and that no software is needed to configure them. Each key has an individually-addressable light, not like cheaper keyboards where there's just some backlighting. There's Off-1-2-3-4 levels of brightness. There's six different modes, including a couple I've never seen on a keyboard before, like lights radiating out from a single key press.Other cool things: steel frame, detachable USB cord (!), red braided cord to match the lighting, very compact footprint, stable rubber base, the keycaps are sort of squared off more than some of my other keyboards (yes, I own multiple ;-) which just looks great, it looks professional and non-toy-like.I'm using the Cherry MX Red switches and they feel great, even response, not stiff or mushy. If I could give 4.9 stars I would: there's a minor issue with the typography on the keys. It's got a non-standard horizontal layout for stuff.. like 1! instead of the ! being below the 1. But if you're a touch typist, it's not a big deal.

Solid 9.5/10 Keyboard
The media could not be loaded. HyperX Alloy FPS RGB Review_______________________________________I'm going to get straight to the point. This keyboard is amazing, it feels premium. And it's durable. The color output is good and bright. Also you can customize it to the way you like it (the RGB).The one and only con is that the keys are very nice and all but, sensitive. While gaming I will sometimes accidentally hit the spacebar but, it will probably be easy to grow used to.In conclusion, this keyboard is well worth the ~$110. Honestly, I can see this keyboard selling for even $140 and I still wouldnt complain!!

Get ready to rip your hair out
The first two weeks I had this keyboard, I really enjoyed it. It comes with red switches, which are pleasant to game with. However, I've become increasingly agitated with this keyboard's consistency. In the middle of a game, you'll find any given key suddenly become unresponsive. The only way to fix this is to replug the cord to the keyboard. If you're looking for a reliable gaming keyboard, I would look elsewhere. You save a bit of money upfront, but pay in misery later.

Good keyboard for what you pay for (Tenkeyless FPS Pro)
I bought this for a cheap, non-noisy option, as my other mechanical keyboard I use has Cherry Blues which despite my great love for them, are incredibly loud. This HyperX FPS Pro is compact, sturdy, and functional. Here's my short list of Pros/Cons in my POV as someone who has about 6 mechanical keyboards.Pros:Authentic Cherry MX Reds, not Outemu, Kailh, or GateronsBraided and detachable USB cableMedia keys (FN+F5-F8)Metal top plateNot gaudy, like some gamer keyboardsRed LEDs that can be turned offTenkeyless design (I prefer this at home because it saves desk space and offers a more natural position)Cons:The key caps are really cheap. I replaced them before I even plugged the keyboard in.Bottom keyboard housing is actually plastic, the top part is the thin metal plate. (still seems sturdy enough though)Conclusion:I give it 4/5 stars, for the cheap keycaps and the fact that it advertises as being a metal keyboard, despite being plastic on the bottom. The top plate IS metal, however it's very thin. The keycaps are replacable with standard Cherry MX stems, however... but to get a good set you will spend at least another $20-30 (iKBC are decent and on Amazon)

Be sure you want a tenkeyless keyboard
Overall: 5/5 stars Great product. I will leave a few notes that may help on your search for a mech. keyboard. I'm not an avid gamer but I love the feel of a mech keyboard. I will say, be sure you are sure you want a tenkeyless keyboard. There has been many times I've reached over to the 10 keys to find they weren't there again. I guess I used them more than I thought.PROS:- Keys don't feel super cheap plasticy. (they are still plastic, but I'm sure you have been a consumer long enough to know what I mean by cheap plastic feel...- Solid feeling construction and materials.- Braided cord (Red and Black)- Sleek and minimalist look.- Price is fair; $60ish with an amazon warehouse deal.- Great feeling on keypress. Responsiveness is a plus.CONS:- The red glow doesn't go off when my computer is powered down... Maybe it's a settings thing but I hate adding all those little perrifrial programs to my computer for mouse, keyboard, sound card...- USB cord is maybe 2M long. For me and my super tidy cable management it was an issue and I had to get a longer USB cable.

Incredibly well made and the keys are perfect for gaming
I've used this keyboard for about a week now and I have yet to find a single fault with it,The keyboard base is made from stolid steel and has a nice weight to it. The base also has the usual two legs, allowing you have the keyboard be slightly raised. The USB cable can also be detached from both ends making it easy to move the keyboards position or moving it off the desk completely if you have a small/compact desk such as myself. The keys themselves have a nice resistance to them, I'd say in they are in medium in tension and reasonably spaced apart. The led back-lighting is also really good and has a few different modes, including WASD, wave, fade in and out, constantly on and constantly off.The back-lighting also has various brightness levels too.The cable of the keyboard is also very well made and is very durable as it is braided too. It has a nice red and black design making it easy to identifying the cable in your cable tidy or on the back of your PC,The sound of your key clicks are very loud, which I personally really like :)Highly recommend it!5/5( Click “Helpful” if this helped ^__^ )

Decepção
The media could not be loaded.

The media could not be loaded.

Basic "gaming" tenkeyless mechanical keyboard
I'm not really sure how this is an FPS Pro gaming keyboard. It's just a regular tenkeyless keyboard with some LEDs, but it is actually a good keyboard. The detachable braided cable is nice and has been reliable. The key caps are nothing special, but haven't started to get shiney, dull or worn after a couple of months of use. The actual build quality of the keyboard feels great. It's a nice hefty chunk of steel and I have had no issues with quality. The mechanical key switches are what you expect from Cherry, no issues with them at all.One issue I've had with the keyboard is that sometimes the software controlling the LEDs glitches out and the keyboard needs resetting, but this is actually a pretty rare occurrence since I don't really mess around with all the different LED settings. Other owners have reported that their keys also stop responding, but I think I've only had this issue whilst using the keyboard on macOS, and was easily fixed by resetting the keyboard with two buttons.
