If you're looking for the classic red hots, this is the real deal!
I needed red hots for Christmas baking. We always put them into our gingerbread cookies and use them for cookie frosting. But hardly any of my local stores carry them anymore! One spendy shop offered a tiny container of off-brand 'cinnamon candies' for way too much money, but they really didn't look like the real deal. So I splurged and bought a package off Amazon. While the price is rather shockingly high, what arrived was exactly what I needed. And, since I use these sparingly, this package will last me quite a while. The cookies turned out fabulous, I have introduced a new generation to the joys of baking with red hots, and I look forward to making pink cinnamon applesauce and other traditional delights!!

Redhots are the best!
These Redhots are hard to find, I've looked all over in different stores and only found on Amazon and I'm very happy that I did. They are the original and highly recommend.

Classic red hot candy i grew up with
I was curious when i looked for red hots to use for gingerbread house candy decor to discover that Brachs made a version, and decided to get both to see if there was any difference. The difference turned out to be fairly significant if you’re buying them for their decorative appeal. Brachs imperials are smaller but much shinier, and uniform bright fire engine red. In contrast, Red Hots are larger, and more of a mottled tomato red.The photos don’t capture the degree of difference that is evident in person, but you can somewhat tell. As for taste - i couldn’t tell any difference. But for decorating cookies - Brachs was the clear winner.

used for vintage themed 60th bday party
Gift for sibling so I can't verify flavor. our mom used to give us the minis as snacks in small crystal salt bowls for celery & such. These were larger so I couldn't put them into the salt bowls for props for party goers, so bday girl got the whole bag to herself which is ok!
