Bought for another person therefore I can't make any comment

It looked good on arrival But no sign of diamonds or dust
It has been used to sharpen my Meat and Kitchen Knives All I can say is my Kitchen Knife must be made of Bloody good carbon steel as in the short time I have had this steel it is now as smooth as a baby.s bum and ready for throwing in the bin with others I have tried Do not know where diamond s come into it as an ex Turner Lathe operator I would not describe it as even high carbon steel ......... One day I will find a Proper Butchers Steel that lasts for more than a Month
