Q: Hi. It says min 500mm clearance to rear wall, if this is tiled can it be reduced?

Hi Greg, the tested distances are to COMBUSTIBLE surfaces. If the wall behind the stove is solid and non-combustible it can go much closer. We recommend min 50mm in that case. If your wall is combustible then you can reduce the distance by shielding the wall - best to take advice form the installer or whoever is signing it off.
