This broom works. It holds up. I sweep off my decks, the kitchen floor. Water, dirt, dust, heavy objects, (nails, wood chips, industrial stuff). You pay more, you get more. Enough said!

Love those brooms for sweeping the barn aisle

Maybe it is the fact that this broom is NOT ALL corn, but it is very stiff and therefore does not move that much dirt at the same time. I also find the weight heavy on the wrists and the handle circumference too big. I usually sweep my entire driveway and walks down every day so I am used to a good deal of sweeping. This broom is sturdy, however, so maybe a different use such as the stalls some people mentioned are a better use for it.
