Love the book, great on the topic and also a glimpse into the History of Chemistry.
Heartedly recommend to EVERYONE who has an interest in LSD and/or Pharmaceutical Chemistry in general. Drugs are not toys and they are not "escapes", if you misuse them then you may hurting those whom it could have helped greatly.I liked the book so much that I keep pushing my friends to read it, despite the signals I may be sending!

One of the most interesting books ever.
LSD has gotten a bad rap over the years through the media portrayal of it as a destructive drug but if you're like me you always wanted to try it. Dropping into the world of LSD seems to be complete 180ยบ of what you've been told as a kid. Enjoy it or not, a lot of us have wondered where it came from, how it came to be and what type of "crazy shaman" found it.Dr. Hoffmann is nothing if not professional. He never intended to make LSD and he never intended for the LSD movement to happen. But it did. This is his account of it; from his dead end job as a scientist, to the legalization and pharmaceutical uses of "Delycid", to the criminalization of "Acid", Dr. Albert Hoffmann takes you on a trip, through his eyes, of the creation of one of the most influential drugs of modern age.If you've seen the other side of the tab or not, read this book.
