Great beginner books for 5 year olds. Very slow and easy introduction to piano. Has short stories and coloring pages. Perfect for little ones. Bought the other 2 set of books too

I can read sheet music and play treble cleft on the piano. I was hoping this would have sheet music like "Mary had a Little Lamb" or "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". Nope. It does not. Its sooooo basic beginners its down right boring. I also dont like how it has a "teachers" side because i feel like its 70% of the book. All in all, dont waste your money

I am a piano teacher and LOVE this series! Perfect for beginning 4-6 year olds. Children love following the stories of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse and all their friends, and all the information is presented clearly and at a good pace. I recommend buying the little toys that come with the series, since they help children understand concepts such as high and low. This book, along with the Lesson and Workbook, is the perfect way to start off young musicians!

My son finished it and he learned so much!
