Works as advertized, works for both pistols and rifles (i use it for a marlin 1895 in 45-70, AR15 in .458 socom and a 1911 in 45 acp, having 2 is great so i can keep one in my range bag, going to pick more up in different calibers

Of all the items I have used to clean firearms this is the easiest one to use. It makes the chore of cleaning much faster and very easy. The only thing is if you have a very dirty firearm that has been sitting somewhere for a while it will not take the place of more aggressive cleaning tools.

These two bore snakes are quality products. One in my locker at the range, and one on my cleaning bench at home. The whole snake is atiny bit more agressive than others I have owned in the past. It's good to start the cleaning job just after using the handgun and then finish the job at home. Why would anyone pay more - you won't get better quality.

I used to be sceptical of bore snakes but my buddy convinced me to try them. Now I own a couple for every caliber I own! They work great and are very easy to use! Love them on small calibers with tight twist, makes it super easy to clean the barrel.

Ordered the .44/.45 size. Would not sufficiently clean .45 1911 barrel. Barely any resistance pulling through barrel like other snakes I have. May only be a problem with this specific size.

This is a different brand than I have used before. They are a cheap knock off of the other brand. I will make sure not to buy again.
