Less sturdy than expected; polarization effect is weak.
I like metal frames. Usually, thay are lighter in weight than plastic frames, and they are less "confining" when you wear them all day. The first set arrived damaged from shipping. They were shipped alone, but not completely secured inside the box and the frames had bent at the bridge. Amazon was - as always - wonderful about immediately getting a replacement to me.They aren't Ray-Bans and don't cost what a pair of Ray-Bans would cost, but they cost enough to expect the frames would be much more robust.I don't see the typical dramatic effect of polarized lenses when looking at water. I see very weak rainbows in car windows. They are polarized, but it isn't done all that well. They are light, they are effective in the sun, but they aren't what I had hoped-for and I will apparently need to baby them or risk damaging them. Oh well, I'll keepng them but can't recommend them.UPDATE:After a year with these glasses, I'm going to revise my opinion about the robustness of the frames. They've held up better than I had a right to expect. I'm not gentle with fishing sunglasses - which is why I don't pay hundreds of dollars for sunglasses I'm going to use when fishing. I jam them in a pocket, I shove them in my fishing pack, and they live in the console of the truck when not in use.The frames have taken my disregard quite well. As, too, have the lenses. They may not be well-polarized, but they've proven to be tough. I keep them in their microfiber bag when not in use, but they've dropped onto gravel and sand and they haven't picked up noticeable scratches. In one way, that's a shame. The polarization is so ineffective that I honestly hoped I'd damage them enough to justify replacing them. Not happening.I'm going to leave them as a three-star product because of the polarizing film. They are advertised as polarized fishing glasses and they aren't very good at that job. However, if you aren't hoping for X-Ray vision into the water to find fish, and are looking for serviceable general-purpose sunglasses, these will take some disrespect without falling apart.

Huge
I have a narrow face but not a small head so I’d expect these medium-fit glasses to fit me, but they were gigantic so I returned them. Oh well.

Not for the Average Head
I don't typically write reviews, but this situation is a little unusual so I wanted to share. My son tried these on in a store in SC and they fit great and looked great on him. They seemed well made and come with a lifetime warranty which is always a plus. The lens had a scratch on it so we didn't make the purchase as that was the last pair available. He really liked them so we took all the information about the glasses and searced online. Found them on Amazon (they were cheaper than the store) and ordered them. Well that pair was HUGE!! They are described as "large fit" but this pair was made for someone with a really big head. The "arms" of the glasses didn't even come close to reaching his ears. Returned them and ordered another pair from a different seller on Amazon. While this pair (also described as "large fit") was smaller, they too were still too big so those were returned as well. I'm not sure why the same glasses with the same description are so varied in size but I called the store where we first found them and the proprietor told us she got them directly from the manufacturer. Maybe the other pairs were "bootleg"? I ordered a third pair directly from the manufacturer. When they arrive I'll post an update.

Solid, good looking sunglasses for knocking around, but polarization is less than optimal.
I might give these 3.5 stars if I could, but I don't feel they warrant 4 stars. They look great and the quality of the frames and lens material seems quite good. But I have to agree with other reviewers that the quality of the polarization is lacking. I would not be surprised to find out that something happened during manufacturing and they forgot to polarize them altogether. I was just outside wearing these glasses and I found myself squinting quite a bit. It's a really bright day, but I never used to squint when I wore my older, marginally more expensive ($80) polarized sunglasses. I suppose I'll keep these around as an extra pair, but they aren't going to cut it as daily wear sunglasses. If you keep sunglasses for more than a year and want quality polarization, then I'd suggest spending slightly more for considerably better polarization. On a positive note, I can read the car nav/stereo display while wearing the Sunclouds, almost like they aren't polarized at all. I can't do that with my more expensive sunglasses.

Good product, bad packaging
These are a pretty nice pair of sunglasses and compared to the parent company's product (Smith) they are pretty good and at half of the price of the name brand. They fit well and have a slight wrap-around fit which keeps them on when I use them during running and skiing. Plastic lens, but still has nice polarization. The packaging is a different story... they are packed loose and throw in the box and thrown in with a few bubbles of cushioning. The first pair was I ordered came in a maroon color, but Amazon quickly replaced them. The second came completely flat and was also promptly returned. Third times a charm, they were not flattened, but had a little knick on the side, but it is pretty unnoticeable and of course does not effect the performance.

GREAT POLARIZED AVIATORS
These are nearly perfect sun glasses. The gray shade is not too dark, and the polarized lens does its job. They curve so that the lens covers your vision but isn’t tight against your face. They clean easily. My only complaint is I’d like a spring mechanism to hold more tightly in my head when I’m looking down.

Price
As described. Though..frame is large, touches my cheek as I smile. Plastic lens. They do have spring hing. So.. for lowest price suncloud aviators & pllorized...cant complain at compromise

Value for money
After destroying many many Maui Jims, which left me significantly poorer, this is a frugal substitute.THe polarization is not on the exceptional grade that MJ's are capable of, but its holding up so far...the lenses have that cooling effect on the eyes that MJs are famous for (somewhat), and they are reasonable. This Aviator is for large heads, as mine, fits well, SO far, no complaints at all. If they last me 5yrs without me destroying the, it would be money well spent. In fact (I bought two). Grey lenses recommended as they have most neutral color correctionRecommended.

Way to Big !

Great!
These glasses fit snugly but don't squeeze a persons head, I have been using them steady for close to a year and they are very durable.
