Great to Intro Kids to Author
My son has read many of the authors other series, but my daughter hasn’t. She loved diving into this and the illustrations kept her interest.

Well done adaptation
This was a pretty decent adaptation of Rick Riordan's Red Pyramid. Unlike some other graphic novel adaptations I have read, this one had great art. I really enjoyed seeing the magical world of the Kane Chronicles brought to life. Overall, quite well done. Recommended to fans.

Look deep into the duat and see yourself reading this book for eternity in the House of Life!
My 10yr old son and I have enjoyed this book immensely. I bought this book after he listened to the audio book on audible 3-4 times. The narrators are top notch. Kevin R Freed and Katherine Kellgren have such harmony and a plethora of voices to boot. The writing is so clever and memorable. We often mimic the story in real life situations. This book has helped us have meaningful conversations about divorce, selfishness, community, being judgmental and having courage to face many of life's unexpected adventures with grit and positivity. Highly recommend. The only quirk I have with the text of the comic is that often the conversation bubble text is assigned to the wrong character. My son said the pictures help him to see if what he imagined is what the author saw. I love it!!!

Loved it!
I really enjoyed it, the illustrations were well done. This is one of my favorite books that Rick Riordan has ever written (I love the series almost as much as I love the Percy Jackson series- more than the Heroes of Olympus series). He does a good job of creating interesting stories about the Greek, Roman, and Egyptian gods with middle school and high school aged kids. Highly recommend! I donated it to the school library in my town after I finished it because I wanted more people to get to read it to.

A solid transition from the book to the graphic novel.
I thoroughly enjoyed this adaptation of the Riordan books. I am comparing this to the original book as well as the first Percy Jackson graphic novel. This adaptation kept the dialogue simple as well as the story mostly intact. I felt that the Percy Jackson graphic novel was skimmed and left out a lot of the nuances in the novel. This book seems more complete. I also like how the dialogue and story are suitable for young teenagers to read and follow along.

Awesome book, Disappointing binding
My daughter is really enjoying this book, and is very excited to read the rest of this series, but has had a terrible time with the book’s binding. The pages keep falling out of the book as she’s reading. Still love the book, but the quality is a bit frustrating.
