The Ego and Its Own

Keep in mind this is an abridged version of the translated work.
The book came fast and was printed only a day after I ordered, which was a surprise. I enjoyed the book and the insights within it, but keep in mind this is a 191 Page abridged version of the full 400+ page work, unless I am mistaken between PDF and print versions. Either way a high quality print of a great work.

A Revolutionary Read...
Reading Stirner has me feel so empowered in my experience as a "self-aware nothingness" he calls the Ego. He is also a mandatory read for anarchists. Not so much in social structure or theory, but in adopting and applying anarchism as a self-practiced philosophy...

Great Read
Reading and thoroughly enjoying but I have noticed a number of typos. This book is fairly hard to find though so I appreciate the opportunity to own and read it. I've yet to encounter a typo that hindered reading or made something incoherent but it is mildly dissapointing.

Do consider buying
A wonderful read. Worthy of attention for all who strive to learn a new perspective no matter how alien it is compared to the perspective of the general public. Understanding is a challenge but that’s always the case with something valuable.

truly egotistical.
I must say I due think that Stirner is a genius, but like most geniuses he gets lost in his own thinking a mean in the end he even mocks things that are actually necessary to live with fellow humans like the golden rule and reciprocity. he spends to much time tiring down his enemies and almost no time building up his philosophy.

Solid translation. Stirner should be more well known. I had a professor teaching a political ideologies class who didn’t know of his concepts, truly disheartening.

No page breaks at chapter selections and terrible formatting! This book is formatted like a cheap word document printed out in one go and stapled together. Severely disappointed, go buy a different edition of this book.

Very Eye Opening
It's not easy to understand alot of what Stirner is saying at times, but his conclusions are certainly amazing and revolutionary.

Poorly written
Maybe it's because it was translated from German to English but this book is so difficult to read and it flows awfully

Terrible print
Terrible print, tiny text literally crammed as much text as they could on each page, although should probably be expected from amazon.
