I love my BeautyRest Blankets. They are super soft and heat up immediately. They have a pre-heat function and an automatic shut-off. They are compatible with my smart home plug and Alexa, so all I have to do is ask Alexa to turn it off and on. They wash well and last for a long time.

I can't say too much as I just received the blanket, bur already the quality and softness are a 10/10 for me, I'll update in a month or so about whether it still works well for me.

This was the best blanket ever - for about 3 months (I purchased it at the end of September and it died December 31). I am always cold, so I use an electric blanket every night, year round. My previous blanket was a sunbeam, and I had it for at least 5 years. I loved it, but it wasn’t very soft and the wires could be felt. I wasn’t particularly sorry when it died because it meant I could find a new one that I hoped would be softer. Also, I was sometimes cold, even with my blanket on full hot and a light comforter on top to reflect the heat back.I was super excited, then, when I found this blanket. Its 20 levels of heat meant that sometimes I would get too hot and didn’t actually need it on full heat! And if the bed got messed up and the sheet moved so the blanket was directly on me, that was just fine, because it’s SUPER soft and I can’t feel the wires! Also, the preheat/boost option was amazing because I no longer had to wait 15 minutes for the blanket to heat up - it would start to get warm almost immediately!!I thought I had found the best possible solution - until it quit working after 3 months!! The first day, I woke up and realized my blanket was not on. I looked over and saw an error code on my controller (it said E2). I unplugged the controller from the wall and the blanket, let it sit for a while, plugged it back in, and it was fine. The next morning, same code on the controller, so I unplugged it again and actually left it unplugged all day. This time, however, the controller did not reset. I have 2 controllers, so I thought I’d try it on the other side - no luck! I also put the other controller onto the blanket (essentially switching the controllers and the sides of the blanket they were on - no luck)! I finally ended up putting the good controller and the good side of the blanket on my side (my husband doesn’t need heat), so I could have heat, but I also looked into getting it replaced.Amazon can’t help in this case because there’s an existing warranty on the blanket, so I had to submit a claim through JLAHome. Their work hours were not the greatest - open super early (7:00am) but not very late (closed at 3:30pm). It took me a week to finally get through at a good time. I told the lady on the other end the issue, and then she asked if I had done all of the troubleshooting. She said that there was a booklet included with my blanket - I didn’t see one, but I have the packaging it came in. So then she asked me what the problem was - even though I had just told her - and she asked me where I had purchased it (again, something I told her). After verifying more details that I had given her (the fact that I had purchased a king sized blanket and have 2 controllers), and that only one side of the blanket is currently working with one controller, she submitted a claim. However, there are no king sized blankets in stock, and they won’t have them for 3 weeks! That’s not even the worst part! The worst part is that they can’t just put the order in and have the blanket shipped to me when it is in stock. Instead, I have to wait for 3 weeks, call in, give them the claim #, and hopefully they will have it in stock then to send to me. And then hopefully that blanket lasts longer than this one has!!

As I person w/chronic pain, I often use heat for relief. Most readily available heated blankets are 50" x 60": too short if one is over 5'-5" tall (I am 5'-11" tall). This brand, & this size (60" x 70") allows one to have adequate coverage. Easy to wash & keeps on working after each wash. I have two of them, one on my bed & one in the living room, I liked it so well.

We do like this a lot.But, our experience has been mixed. We first bought one in January of 2022. It stopped working in January of 2023, and we got a warranty replacement. That one stopped working in April of 2024. We bought a replacement rather than make another warranty claim, because maybe our use, on a couch where it gets crumpled, is harder on it than lying flat on a bed(?)

Have only used a few weeks - I like the pre-heat feature on it. The only issue I have so far is it seems to get hotter as the night goes on. But, that could be because I'm cold when I go to bed and get used to it as night goes on. I'm trying a lower setting this week, will see how that works.

Love Love Love this!Nice substantial weight, I bought the king size, dual control means my husband can set his own thermostat and I can do the same. It exceeded expectation. Great color and so so soft!

I like the softness but it will NOT stay in place on the bed. The material is so slick that every morning it is always far to one side of the bed. Very frustrating!! Never had a blanket that slides all over the bed.

I have purchased two of these, the first I purchased for myself and I loved it so much that I bought a second one as a gift for someone else.The dustey pink colour is slightly mauve, and the fabric is plush with a very very subtle sheen. You can see the outline of the heating wires threaded throughout the inside of the blanket but they don't poke and are fully and securely sewn in so they stay exactly in place and do not shift around inside the blanket. The heating is evenly distributed and consistent. It gets toasty warm and almost hot but not quite hot. I have laid on top of it many times and its a fairly strong heat but not so hot that it would burn. My dog absolutely loves laying on it, and when she does I turn it down slightly because she will start panting after a while if she happens to lay on it while on maximum. The cord is long enough to reach any plug in my bedroom, and connects to the blanket securely. I like that the controler is simple with few buttons.The second one of these I purchased was a gift for my grandma. She lives in an elder care centre in the north of Canada where it gets extremely cold. I personally feel so cozy and comforted when using this blanket and I thought it would look really nice and stylish in her suit, and keep her warm and cozy on cold winter days/nights. The controler are simple so it should be easy for her to operate as well. I did hear after about 6 months that hers stopped working, unfortunately. I am not sure if we just got a lemon? It happens.Overall a really good purchase even though one didn't last very long I and my grandma really enjoy(ed) them.I hope others will find this review helpful!

I got this heat blanket for my son and within a couple of weeks it was showing flashing lights on the controller and no longer heating at all. I didn't get to return it right away and I just checked, the return window has closed. To be clear, this isn't just us not liking it. It's a defective product and no way of returning it and getting my money back OR swapping it for a new one.
