Works like a charm
This fit right up to our kitchenmaid. I use it for making cookies and love it. It mixes well, easy to clean up, and I think the coating on it will last just as well as the original piece did.

I only used it a few times and the plastic edging has already torn. It still works, but I’m not sure for how much longer.

Quality part but absolutely does NOT fit Cuisinart SM-50 Mixer
Despite the many reviews and websites that claim this beater fits an SM-50, it most certainly does not. It will mount on the mixer head shaft but the shape of the beater isn't even close to the shape of the bowl.Don't waste your time trying it on the Cuisinart - it does not work.

Great addition to my KitchenAid Mixer
I purchased one of these back in 2021 and use my KitchenAid mixed on an average of once a week at a minimum. It recently tore so I had to purchase another one. They work great and you do not have to stop mixing to scrape the sides of the bowl. I would highly recommend this to anyone that would like to be able to just let the beater do the job versus having to scrape the bowl.

Well worth it.
It was about half the cost of a Kitchenaid accessory but was in no way less in quality. Fits my 4.5 quart bowl perfectly and does a great job of getting all ingredients to blend properly.

Does okay, but not terrific
I purchased a beater kind of like this about 15 years ago that had the nylon scraping method on both sides and they were staggered. That one worked great, but recently the nylon scraping teeth have been cracking so I needed another. This one is pretty much like all the ones available. As to mixing ... it does okay, but takes longer. As to scraping the sides of the mixing bowl id doesn't do that great with the nylon only on one side and the shape of the mixing blade does not match the mixing bowl that well. The nylon side that scrapes the bowl only scrapes on about 1/4 of the nylon blade. As to clean-up ... it gets a much better rating, but that may be why it doesn't mix as well. I will continue to use it, I just have to manually scrape the sides of the bowl a few times to get everything mixed.
