Buried Treasure MCT Coconut Oil, 16.54 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

I have had chronic fatigue for two years. Fatigue is not the same as being sleepy. I wake up and feel like I rather die then move. I hurt all over and it's a struggle to shower or get anything done at all. I've exhausted all my resources on getting various tests done to figure out the issue. I also have IBS and came across PCT2 enzyme deficiency which I believe is my problem. I take L-Carnitine and Buried Treasure Coconut MCT oil twice per day and feel normal. In the past two years I've been prescribed stimulants like Ritalin at higher and higher doses until they were just useless and weren't working so I discontinued them. I was put on some drugs for Narcolepsy for a little bit (but they are very expensive and didn't work.) So to find a product on Amazon that makes me feel human again without a black box warning on it, wow. This product has changed my life.Product review: Tastes good, makes my herbal tea or coffee a little more buttery. I add it to my protein shake in the afternoon. I use 1 teaspoon in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. No jitters or feeling like I've taken a supplement. I feel 'normal' which is pretty abnormal for me. I have a normal amount of energy. I also use L-Carnitine with it, but am unsure if that's actually helping or not.My sleep has been good and no negative side effects from using the MCT / L-Carnitine combo. For sleep though I do take a couple of Magnesium tablets per day, but like I said before I have terrible digestion and despite being a Vegetarian now and eating very clean I'm pretty sure I don't get what I need from the food I eat.I have a very sensitive digestive system and this oil caused zero problems or irritation to it. The taste is clean without a coconut edge or anything funky going on. No pungent smell. The bottle is plastic but high quality.

I especially like the care taken in preparing this product for market. I like that it is bottled in TN. I do use it in my coffee. I do not like the taste of coffee and this helps. I am not a morning person so this gets me off to a good start each day. Additionally I use it on my skin after I shower. Being up in years and very health conscientious, I believe using this product helps keep me feeling, acting and looking younger than my actual age.I recently attended my 65th high school class reunion and was really surprised at how most of my classmates looked and acted compared to me. Probably the main thing was my skin. Even my massage guy comments about my skin not being wrinkled and how it feels and looks many years younger compared to his other clients 30 or more years younger. Some of them had to have drivers because they were no longer mentally capable of driving. Some used a cane or wheelchair.I have no arthritis. I do not take any prescription medications. I plan to keep using this product as an important part of my health routine.

I add this high quality MCT oil in everything when I need more good fat content for my keto diet. Its tastless too. I havent noticed it overtaking any other flavors which is the main reason for my 5 stars. I will definitely keep buying this brand as I am very happy with it. Highly recommend!

I really like this brand of MCT Oil. It tastes like nothing really, as it has no coconut flavor. In saying that, I found it sits well in my stomach and no burn in the throat if I take it on a spoon. I have tried the NOW brand, and I found it a little weird tasting and burning in the throat. Not sure why, but friends also say this one is better. Look around the net, and you might find it on sale in other places.As for the bottle, it is a nice, easy to handle size. Although it is plastic rather than glass, I like the oil better than other brands. So that is a trade off. The company recently started using new seals under the cap, and they are almost impossible to remove entirely. Not sure I like that feature, but this oil is very thin and leaks easily, so that is likely the reason for the new seals.I also put a small (glass) 2 oz. dropper bottle of it in the console of my car. When on the road having a meal, I take a couple of dropper-fulls for an afternoon boost. Works amazingly well.

No flavor on my end. And I like coconut so If had the coconut flavor I'd be ok with it. I like the size of this product and price , veggie safe, dairy ,wheat, gluten and soy free.
