Have been looking for a set of kitchen knives worthy of the name and tried and binned any number of them, these however bought on a whim fit almost every single requirement I needed, solid stiff blades with tactile handles they take and keep an edge and are well honed out of the box.Negatives Matching Chinees veg knife does not have a slot in the block, FAIL you idiots, and the set is not dishwasher-proof, don't do it, will not end well, the handles really don't like it. lacks a really good meat slicer in the set.

It does have a long scratch on the blade of the big chopping knife. It should have been checked for imperfections, even though it is only a miniscule defect. I would appreciate a discount if possible as I am only a pensioner and only on benefits.
