Leap Gear Gymnastics Leotards-The Affordable Made in USA Brand-Large Collection

Leap Gear/Pelle makes the best leotards. My daughter is extremely sensitive to how things feel, and this is the only brand that we have tried that is comfortable for her. I'm sad that it's so hard to find this brand nowadays. I hope they aren't going out of business. Love that these are made in the USA (however weirdly when we received this order, the packaging had Chinese writing on it...which made me wonder where exactly Amazon sourced these from)As for sizing - if you go by the height and weight chart you shouldn't have a problem finding the correct size. If in weight she is one size but height the other, err on the larger side.

Beautiful leotard! My daughter is 9 and wears a size 14 (she is very tall for her age and lean). I purchased the womens x small on a whim and kept my fingers crossed that it would fit...it did but just barely. It won't fit her in six months but since this is our first leotard purchase I can't say if it runs small or not. As the mom of a girl I worry about private areas potentially showing or bulging through and am happy to say that the crotch and bottom area of this leo fit really well. There is no bulging or gaps, it fits flush against the skin and doesn't slip no matter how she rolls, tumbles or flips. To me thats a big deal and something I appreciate greatly. The leo is very well made. I plan on purchasing several more for her and highly recommend Pelle.

I purchased the rainbow peacock leotard as a gift for an 9 year old that wears a size 7/8 ingirls. I got the adult extra small and it fit her with a little wiggle room mainly up in the shoulder area. She said the leg openings were a little tight but overall decided to keep it.The colors on the leotard are brighter than they look in the example photo. The pink is neon and so is the green but still very pretty!

I get these Pelle leotards for my 8 year old daughter. They are quality and look good, however she is in the Adult size, which I think is really weird, particularly since it is advertised as leotard for GIRLS. She is on the taller spectrum of her age (85 percentile) and weight (also 85 percentile), but not by any means abnormal. Really measure your child well before purchasing. I have no idea what size a 10 year old would fit in, almost seems like they don't have a size after 3rd grade.

My daughter loved it - perfect stretch and it didn’t dig into her shoulders or ride up, even when working on skills. My daughter has a very muscular build and this leotard fit without being too wide (as some leotards feel when we buy them for her long torso) or ride up on the rear. She says it is comfy and loves the pattern. We did size up since some of her measurements were in a CM and some were in a CL.

I followed the advice of the previous reviews that said the product runs small. I purchased an adult small for my 8 year old that is about 75 lbs and 53 inches tall. She is just getting into a size 10 in clothes. The size chart would have had me order a child large, but because of the reviews, I went up two sizes to an adult small and it fits perfectly on her. She loves it and it is very comfortable, which was my biggest concern. I likely will buy additional patterns.

My daughter loves her leo! Fun design and good construction. We've been happy with other orders from Pelle in the past. I ordered a size Adult Medium for my 8 year old who is about the size of a 10 year old. I like a little growing room, but overall it's a good fit. I've gotten adult larges and they're a bit too big.

My 12 year old daughter really likes this leo. We ordered an AS, and it fits great- she has a somewhat 'larger' bottom ( like her mama!) and this was a concern for me, but it fits well. Only word of caution- I washed it with some other items, and everything was EXTRA sparkly that it was washed with. My husband is enjoying his sparkly shirts for now, at least until the next wash :).
