I love dried apricots always have since I was very young. Nuts U.S. is the best game in town. My first 2lb were above my expectations. Begs 2 & 3 seems not to be dried enough before packaging and the product appears as a sticky mess. I still give it a five star rating improvement could be made.

In my younger days as a 4th generation native Californian, raised on farm ranches, I "cut cots" among many other chores on the family ranch and other ranches in the Silicon Valley (before we were paved over and smothered by computer engineers.)This vendor states these cots are from California, so I expected the California flavor and the chewy cots I've always known, but these are BAD. They are dark orange, indicating they were dried too long.Since my experience was to cut cots in half and set them on drying trays in Californbia, I know the process and what to expect when the drying process is done right.This farm/vendor over dried these cots.....they are HARD.See the photo of the cot that greeted me when I first opened the bag. It's BLACK!!!OMG these cots are TERRIBLE!!Not only have they been dried too long, but they are so tough as to not be chewable, hard even, and you have to take them out of your mouth and throw them away.I provided a picture of the cot I first saw at the top of the bag above.At $14.98 a pound, this vendor should pay you to eat them. They're that bad.

Nuts US are the best dried apricots I’ve tasted in a long time. There is no sugar added yet they are sweet and tangy. I’ll definitely be ordering on a regular basis.

The taste and texture are totally acceptable, but they are all a little too moist for my liking. Otherwise good. I would possibly buy them again.I am used to drier sulfured apricots. No mold on them, even though they are quite moist, and actually almost could be called “wet”. Taste is good, however.

I’ll re-order very soon.

I’ve purchased the 2 lb bag several times and they’ve been wonderful - 5 stars. I decided to save myself some money and hassle and order the 4lb bag this time around…opened it today and unfortunately the fruit is covered in mold. It’s so disappointing, both because I love these apricots and also because the bag was $55, is inedible, and can’t be returned. Hoping the company will reach out to make it right as I’d love to continue to purchase these but feel uneasy after losing so much money on the purchase.
