I actually liked this. Purchased and bought it to my phone tech and he fixed it within minutes and I’m happy with it. Still at a 100% and it’s been a month or so

the instructions were good and there are also videos. the battery is very long lasting and great quality and this extended the life of my iphone by another few years.

Purchased this to replace the original battery on an iPhone 8 (A1863). This kit comes with nearly everything you need to replace a battery. There are several websites and videos that show how this can be done. I used a heating pad to loosen the adhesive strip. I did not need to remove the screen and used a book to keep the screen propped up while I replaced the battery. I used the spudger as a pry tool to get the original battery out. I did not use the battery adhesive strips or the water proof strip when reassembling the phone.The battery was detected on the first power on and iPhone reported a 67% charge and 100% capacity. Everything seems to be working fine. Will report back if the battery has issues.

UPDATE: 8-1-22 and the replacement battery is still working great!——-My original battery was DONE. Would go from 100 to 10 percent within 4 minutes. I didn’t want to replace my perfectly good iPhone 8 yet. I’ve done phone repairs before so this was a no brainer. Cheap and easy fix. Some rather decent tools included in the package. Only glitch is the adhesive material included is the old kind, that you don’t want to use without modifying it. You don’t want to stick the battery down to the charging coil that is underneath it. I just cut it down to get pieces that could adhere the battery just to the metal case. Or you could separately buy the correct adhesive that is made for iPhone 8 and includes the cutout portion where the coil is. This is a very doable DIY repair if you’ve done these before or are confident and have steady hands. Battery life is great so far, 3 weeks after the swap.

The media could not be loaded.  Video for instructions doesn’t work, the glue barely fit and in some spots it’s smaller.

Product and tools were easy to use. Instructions provided via UPC code did not apply to the kit or replacement process required. If you have some basic technical abilities you will figure it out pretty quickly. Adhesive pads are quite sticky and are easy to fold upon themselves, be careful and go slowly.Screws in the iPhone are very very tiny, wow! If you have good eyes and a steady hand you’re in luck! If not get help!But overall good battery, brought new life to my iPhone 8.
