Blazin' Sun 1500 Lumen | Battery Lanterns for Power Outages, Emergency, Hurricane, Camping | LED Lantern with up to 200 Hour Runtime (Teal)

I was having issues with my light in my laundry room. Some days it would work and some days not. I bought this for days when I was doing laundry when my light was not working. I now have my light fixed but this thing rocks! It had full on, less, less and less brightness settings. Sitting on the shelf in my laundry room now but will definitely come in handy when/if my power goes out.Do I recommend it? Definitely!!! Great amount of brightness and does the job. Make sure you have batteries and you’re golden.

My misery in the 2021 winter Texas power grid failure caused me to begin shopping for a better back-up light than the LED flashlights that I was stuck with. Realizing that power grid failures may become the new norm thanks to the ill conceived Green policies being forced upon us I began shopping at amazon. My first studied option was the rechargeable LED lamp light bulbs. I soon discovered that they are not a good option as they really do not produce much light and that is for only three or four hours. Also, the rechargeable light bulb batteries begin to degrade after only two years of use. So, I next searched for a battery operated storm lantern and settled upon Blazin' Sun 1500 Lumen. I ordered one and my amazon Prime delivered it quickly. I installed my waiting four D alkaline batteries upon receipt for a test run and was astonished by the brilliance of this little lantern on the high setting. There are four intensity settings. The instructions say that the lantern will run continuously on the low setting for up to a week. On the bright setting the batteries will only last 2 to 3 hours. The low setting produces a useful amount of light so I probably would use this most of the time on setting 3 and not 1,2 or 4. After testing I removed the batteries and it is stored on a shelf in it's container box with the battery pack beside it. I hope that I will not have occasion to need it, but I am on the Texas coast and hurricane season will soon be approaching. I should also mention that there is a handy fold out hook on the bottom so that the lantern can be hung upside down. Very bright, very good, I like this one.

We bought this item previously to be an emergency lantern for power outages. It performs just as advertised, with adjustable settings for brighter or dimmer light and is the perfect lantern for many uses, but especially for power outages. Two weeks ago, we had another power outage and our lantern would not light. We contacted the company and they promptly sent us a new lantern! It works exactly as expected. It is an excellent lantern for any purpose. I highly recommend this company, as they completely stand behind their product.

Here in California, we had a announcement that our power was going to be turned off due to a red fire alert stating that the power could be off for up to five days. Thanks to amazon, i was able to purchase batteries and this Blazin Sun 1500, and had it in my home the next day, the day that the outage was to begin. Our electricity was turned off, and we were without power for three days, the electricity just coming back on as I write this review. I am very pleased with the Blazin Sun. It produces a amazing amount of light. Batteries were easy to install. The brightest setting was way too bright actually, so to save batteries, I lowered it to the medium setting. It provided more than ample light. I actually tried something which worked wonderfully, and that was to lower the light into the top of my lampshade in my living room lamp letting it rest on the rods just above the light bulb. Not only did it enhance the light in the room, it actually shielded the brightness from the frosted glass. If you look at the frosted glass it is actually bright for the eyes, the instructions state not to look at it. I had the medium setting on in the evenings for about 5 hours each evening, and after 3 days, it still worked perfectly. I highly recommend this lamp and it is safer to use than candles, and you don't get the smell!

The only negative thing I can say is I wish it had a USB – C port

Put in rechargeable batteries. The brightness if fantastic. Would highly recommended. It is worth the outlay on 4 Energizer rechargeable and EBL charger
