I wanted this style quick load as these are what I've always used.... They arrived red in color not green which is fine, I wanted red ones anyway and couldn't find a 3 pack for a decent price.... They work great and price was right for a 3 pack..

Poorly Designed For TC 50 Caliber Reloading
I'm shooting a TC 50 caliber Renegade Muzzle Loader. Been shooting it for 50 years. My old quick loads became brittle and needed replacing. My choices were limited compared to what it was many years ago.These quick reloads are poorly designed, would not recommend them. The ball and the powder definitely should be in 2 separate compartments for isolation purposes. No matter how careful I was in pre-lubing the Maxi Ball, some of the powder still adheres to the head of the Maxi Ball, mostly due to handling. This design requires that you leave a vital portion of the Maxi Ball base outside the quick load for easy insertion into the barrel. The base is the part that needs the lube most of all for easy insertion into the barrel. Can't lube the base of the Maxi Ball with it sticking outside the quick load. Therefore it is harder to start in the barrel without proper lubrication. Buy the Traditon Universal Fast Loads instead.

Don't waste your $
These Thompson Center 31007028 Quick Shot are garbage. I have used TC items for over 15 years and these are very disappointing. The tops have to be trimmed to hold a 209 primer and after doing so you will not be able to keep the top cap closed to hold the primer and your pellets in place. TC needs to up there game on these.
