The seeds arrived quickly and all 22 seeds that I planted have germinated. I am loathe to thin themUpdate: the plants started flowering 10 weeks after seeding, I can't wait until they grow fruit!I’ve read reviews from people who didn’t get sprouts. I’ve had success on with 3 different physalis subtypes (heirloom ground cherries, Peruvian golden berries and tomatillos). I put the seeds on the surface of a peat pellet and kept in ziplock or container on a very warm sunny windowsill and spray regularly. Don't bury the seeds, the sprout may not be able to get to the surface if it’s buried. They need to be kept warm and moist to germinate. Plant more than you need. Some sprouts will thrive and grow quickly and some seem to just stay small. Most of the these plants are growing, and doing well.Update: seeding to ripening was ~4 1/2 months. They are not prolific compared to tomatillos and ground cherries. However, the fruit is juicy and delicious. Unfortunately, caterpillars have eaten 1/2 of the fruit

Fast delivery. 90% of the seeds I planted have sprouted. Seem to be taking a long time to get big....but it's still early.

These seeds did not germinate. Not 1! I am no beginner. Tried 5 different methods of seed germination. Tried the method recommended by LA Co Arboretum. What a waste of time, $ and resources. Do not purchase.

Purchased these seeds, 75% came up as black nightshade. Not good when you have pets and small animals.

None of them grew. Very upset.
