Pebeo 766547 Gedeo Mirror Effect Leaves Adhesive Sheet, Green

This was so gorgeous with the easiest results I've ever had using gold leaf. I used the Pebeo Mixtion Relief in a tube. So so fun to use. I did a full tutorial on my YT channel and everyone was amazed by the mirror effect. :) Will buy again and again.

So this isn't metal leaf, it's more like mylar. it looks really nice but there are two pretty big catches to using it.1) the moment there isn't pressure/weight on it, from opening the package onward, the sheets want to roll up like wrapping paper. this makes it more difficult to treat like you would normal leaf, if you're used to that2) there is a right side and a wrong side; for the gold "leaf" the wrong side is a matte silver color. this side is the only side receptive to adhesive, and not all adhesives...it needs to be something with strong tack, which is not all gilding size (adhesive). looking at the pebeo adhesives, I suspect it to be something similar to a latex-based glue. so keep that in mind as well. It's even possible that the adhesive side is treated with something to make it work with their formulation specifically...not sure.in my case I wanted to use it for water gilding on glass...the mirror effect would look very nice compared to the softness of typical metal leaf. the reasons above meant that it would not work for that, at all. I'm sure it's nice if you use it specifically with the pebeo products, in the ways that they advertise..thus the FYI

I love this product! Other foil items were so messy that I was tempted to give up on gold foil altogether. This comes on a backing paper that makes application a breeze and reduces waste. I'm excited to have my grandkids add it to their art projects!

My daughter uses these foil sheets in her watercolor works and says they are incredibly easy to use. Let the glue dry (a hair drier or embossing gun speeds up the drying time from hours to minutes), stick the foil sheet on colour-side up, press down, rip off the sheet in one quick motion, and you're done! The sheets are very shiny, making for gorgeous accents, and don't require any pesky or wasteful brushing away. My daughter intends to buy more once this set runs out - she loves them.

I absolutely love this product, it provided such a beautiful embellishment to my mixed media earring designs. Easy to use and will be ordering again.

I have had PEBEO mirror effect leaves before and they work a treat. I was a bit surprised when two packs arrived as I only ordered one. They were silver too and I had thought I had ordered the gold but that could be my mistake

I used the silver gilding for my fish picture. It comes with a plastic backing film which makes it very easy to use. Very effective finish which glitters. I have used the Pebeo varnish to finish it.
