MC3 PV Cable 50' for Solar Applications. With Male & Female Non-locking Connectors.

This wire was difficult to route in my camperVan due to it's inflexibility. There are something like 7 thick copper strands, and getting them to bend around corners, or to fit intot he charge controller was annoyingly difficult. I ran another circuit(8awg) of finer stranded wire in parallel to this wire, and that was much easier to work with.I am not so sure about the connection quality at the MC3 connectors themselves. My clamp on Ammeter showed 0.03 amps less on the far side of the connector, and my IR thermometer said it was 1.5 degrees warmer than the surrounding wire, which was all shaded for the test.They do fit together tightly and seem weatherproof, but a cable with more stranding for flexibility would have saved a lot of cursing and frustration

Good quality 10 gauge wire with MC3 connectors. I used this wire to connect 2 more solar panels on my RV. I originally used this wire 2 years ago on the original solar panel installation and it is very durable. With the MC3 connectors, it couldn't be easier to use.
