Huntworth Ketchikan Men's Heavy Weight Windproof Soft Shell Hunting Pants

I’m pretty disappointed in these. The stitching on the inseam ripped after one wash. I wasn’t even hard on them. They did however do a pretty good job keeping warm with a double baseblayer underneath in sub zero temps. Really comfy in 10-20 degrees. Pockets are well laid out, and the fit was athletic but no restricting. It repelled light-moderate snow but I haven’t had it in rain yet. It lost 2 stars for the tear with minimal use and for general construction quality...not horrible but could be way better. Even for the money these should be made better than they are.

I love the Disruption camouflage. Also I like the pockets. The back pocket has a zipper so you won't loose your wallet. The trousers are very warm, the lining is very soft. The lining isn't fleece but a weird knock off and I don't think the lining would survive too many washings. The trousers are called heavy weight. I am assuming because of the lining. But the outer shell is a thin material that a briar patch will gobble up. The outer shell will turn water. The water repellent will be good for drizzling weather or against snow and frost. I wore these while hunting today. I knelt down and the stitching on both legs tore rendering the water repellent useless. The material is very weak. All around, quality has been sacrificed for probably profit. This garment is not worth the money.

I wear 38-40 pants in everything which is typically an XL The size chart indicates and XL fit 38-40, but they run small. There is no way to wear a base layer under these pants. If you want to wear just the pants and no base layer, the size chart will run a little on the tight side. I reordered the XXL and will see if that works.

Used them last season up at 11,500 ft in northern New Mexico in near zero temperatures. Very warm. Had to remove when hiking. These are very warm pants. They are so warm, I'm buying the jacket for my Gila Wilderness hunt this year. I got them for $80 and that was a steal!

I would give these a 5 star because they are very nice and warm but be careful they are Big! Now I'm not a big guy 5'7" 150lbs but I wear a medium in most all of my other hunting apparel I checked the chart and figured they would be close with a belt. Wow not these are made for a guy 200+ in a medium.

Very warm,wind blocking and still have mobility, good base layer and my Huntworths I can sit for a few hours in 20 degree weather, only down sideis when they get wet it takes forever to dry.

Awesome pants, nice and warm. Used in WI single digit windy weather for about 6 hours, no wind get through.
