The reviews are fake
This thermometer has false reviews. I only ordered it because I thought it had 300+ good reviews but when you read them it’s for different products - insect bites, testosterone boosting supplements. The thermometer itself is so slow (2+ minutes and just now it took 5 and then shut off without telling me my temperature) and after 3 uses the battery completely died. Do not recommend.

Waste of money.
I've tried to use this thermometer several times and it never beeps and does not seem accurate. It is SO slow. I sit with the thing under my tongue for 5 minutes watching the numbers move at a snail's pace and I eventually get so tired of waiting for it to beep that I give up and put it away. Wish I would have gone with another brand.

READ THE REVIEWS, THEY ARE NOT FOR A BASAL THERMOMETER.
This seller hijacked positive reviews on a different product (some sort of anti itch product) and changed the listing to a basal thermometer. This is against amazon seller policies.This thermometer is horrible. It’s insanely inconsistent, the beep is so quiet I can barely hear it, and it takes four minutes for it to temp. What a waste of money. This seller should be ashamed.

Doesnt work.
Returning it. Keeps saying we all have temps in the low 96 degree range. Piece of junk. More than anything I feel scammed because the seller is clearly using the good rating from selling other items to push this piece of crap product and I didnt read the reviews thoroughly until after I bought it and then realized EVERYONE who bought this thermometer has had problem. It goes back in the mail tomorrow and I'm getting my money back. I'm even more annoyed because now I have to wait even longer to chart temps!!

Itch gone!!!!!
Chiggers, any type of insect bite this is the one to buy! Where I live I have problems with chiggers! This is the only one I will ever buy! Tried so many others, never worked as fast. Within 4 days gone! No itch nothing. As soon as you put it on bam...no itch works great for mosquito bites also. Strongly recommend!

Not accurate or consitent
Does not save the last recoded temp. Instructions are poorly written and barely useable. Temperature readings are not consistent, even sitting with the thermometer in my mouth for ten minutes repeatedly taking temps to test the variability. I see now that none of the reviews are even for a thermometer and wish I had checked before ordering.
