As an audio player, it is fine, plays lots of file types and sound is good with good headphones, but don't expect much more.
I wanted a small MP3 player that I could pop a memory card into and listen to music. This fits the bill for that, but does it with a poorly designed interface. The good:Audio: It plays a variety of music file formats without issue (MP3 (including VBR),WMA, WAV, APE and FLAC.Radio: it uses the headphones for the antenna, and receives a reasonable number of stations in my NYC apartment.Voice Recorder: Works well. Records to internal memory and easy to playback or transfer to a computer.Ebook Reader: Works, but I can't think why I would want to read books on a screen that is under 2 inches.Volume: It plays loud enough with good headphones that I can hear fine on the subway. The bad:File transfer: While it is easy to transfer files to the internal memory, there is no way to transfer files to the memory card via USB. The memory card needs to be removed from the device in order to put files on the card. I've had similar players that allow one to access both the internal memory and the card. The Ugly:The menu structure is AWFUL. Screens where one is scrolling down, like a list of folders or tracks, scroll up and down via the left and right buttons rather than the up and down buttons. A couple of days with this player and I am still not used that that system and I don't think I ever will be.Memory Structure: The internal memory and the card are entirely separate, so you need to choose which one you want to play music or videos from. They are not integrated at all.File structure: My music files are often named starting with a track number. I believe this is common and it lets one play an album's tracks in order. Here, the number at the start of a file seems to be meaningless. One album on the internal memory is ordered 13,1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 18, 10, 11, 9, 12, 13, 16, 6, 02, 14, 15, 17. The tracks are not someone handled in alphabetical order by track name. I can't figure out the reason for this.Video: Although it is supposed to play AVI and WMV files, I could not get WMV files on my memory card, that played on another similarly priced player, to play on this player. It gave me an error pictured below reading "Format Error".Overall, given the low price, it is fine as a music player, but don't expect much more than that. The player has an on/off switch on the right side as well as the microUSB port used for charging and file transfer. The left side contains a microSD slot and the headphone jack. The controls on the front are up/down/left/right and select buttons as well as an M button (mode?) and back button.

It's an excellent little device. It feel and looks great, the size is what i need. The color is black, the price is not high but it's really a good player. So far the battery is good.

Easy to use
I didn’t like the buttons on it. It’s compact and handy for easy use though
