Works great and excellent customer service
The heating pads arrived earlier than quoted. I tested the pads with a proper 2Amp USB power bank. I noticed one of the heating pads was cooler than the rest. I contacted the seller and they responded immediately. They apologized and said for me to keep the old set and they will ship another one out to replace the original one. They also said they’ll send a free extra one just in case. They mentioned the factory had a quality issue and it’s resolved now. A few day’s later I received two heating pads sets and after testing them I found out they both work with all heating pads warming up nicely and evenly. I bought a light weight vest on Amazon and installed one set inside of it. Currently it works wonderfully and no faults. Product works the way it’s advertised. The 5 pads are about 3”x5” and joined with a flexible wires. There’s enough wire to run around through The seems of the vest I bought. I like the led colored button indicating the temp for a few seconds, then the led light turns off, that’s a good feature. You can sew or glue your heat pads on easily, there’s about 1/2” of clearance around each pad to sew into or glue. The quality and ruggedness at first glance was minimal, but after attaching it to my vest and wearing it for a while now, it is very rugged and strong. One quick note though, you need a good quality USB 2 Amp power bank. If you buy a cheap Chinese one you’ll have problems. It has to be 2 amps constant for all pads to work properly. Overall I’m very pleased with this product and plan to buy many more, for I received orders from many people asking me to build them heated vests and jackets. It’s a simple system and a small fraction of the cost of buying a vest/jacket that already has them installed. I recommend this product to my family, friends, and all who read this review. Happy shopping and happy DIYing!!!

Worked well for short time - supplier unresponsive to failure
I used this for keeping warm hunting. The pads provide satisfactory heat and kept me warm in 20 degree (F) weather with an 8 degree (F) windchill when worn on top of underarmour long johns and under my insulated coveralls. Essentially replaced 2 medium layers of clothes. Initially I got about 3-4 hours out of a 10000 mAH battery.Unfortunately after several uses I noticed the controller shuts off on its own after several minutes. I tried it in the house where I could keep an eye on the controller and found that it will change settings on its own randomly and randomly shut down.Wires are also very fragile, haven't broken yet but I'm confident they will not take much wear and tear. The supplier states "Please feel free to contact us to fulfill your request promptly without any hassle. We will solve your problem within 24 hours." but provides no means of contact.12/4/2019 - I guess in addition to no means of contact they don't pay attention to their reviews either. So much for the 24 hour response time. Would not recommend doing business with this supplier.12/6/2019 - As anticipated two of the wires have failed despite making sure they were not stressed when wearing.I will rewire all of them and get use out of them once I have.

Uncertain, will update with more use.
I tested them right after receiving them by connecting it to a powered USB hub to see how hot they got. On high they individually did not get super hot, after about 10 minutes they felt fairly warm (tested indoors) but nothing dangerously hot. My plan is to use them outdoors while escootering to stay warm on cold days, so I have some more testing to do.However, after my initial test, I decided to stack them to see if that improved the heat they produced. Walked away for about 20 minutes and came back to a very nasty odor. Stacking them did exactly what you'd think, they got extremely hot (especially those in the middle of the stack) causing it to melt something releasing an almost toxic smell. I suspect it was the glue holding the pads together. It was bad enough I had to open the window to clear out the smell. On the plus side, when I unplugged them, they cooled off instantly, they went from being too hot to touch to almost cold in 5 seconds.I will update the review later with more of my outdoor tests and the applications I used.

Worth the $10!
I feel obligated to write up a quick review since there's almost none here. First of all to anyone who bought and couldn't get to work, A) Be completely sure your using a 2.4 Amp USB port. B) You must Press and Hold the power button to power on, after that a single click changes the heat setting, hold again to power back off. This is exactly similar to the Milwaukee heated hoodies and jackets as far as operation of the button. Planning to use this in sleeping bags, in our tent, etc on nights where we might Crack open some hand warmers. Will be using on a 20,000mah Power Bank. Will update on longevity of product after extended testing. The pads are all about 4"x2.5". Smaller than expected however the heat is almost instant, I'm actually pretty surprised they get warm from usb power but they do!

Crap
Did some child make these? Terrible. Homemade as you could imagine.Might salvage th wires and make my own custom deal...The wires are not long enough to run from hands to feet, unless your a kid.Wires are just patches down onto eachother... I could make this a million times better and I don't sow worth crap

Not worth the cost, way too small and can't feel any heat from the first 2 settings
There is 3 heat settings. The first 2, you will not be able to feel any heat from them. The warmest temperature is the only one I can feel anything. The size is another thing. It is way too small. Even tho the pad looks like 3x2 inches. The heating area is only 1x1 inch. I would probably need 15 of these pads to make it work on a jacket due to the lack of heat it produces.

Very warm. 3 heat settings. Works with any 5v usb portable charger.
3 heat settings, large surface area. Heats quickly and evenly. I use safety pins to attach it to my shirt or just slide it underneath a tight fitting undershirt.Lasts as long as your battery pack can power it or works directly off USB power brick.
