I have been looking for good grill pan that can be used on induction for some time. The problem with most grill pans is they are anodized aluminum, have a thick aluminum core or are cast iron. The first two are not induction capable because neither is magnetic. Since aluminum (and copper and iron) is a great conductor of heat for even pan heating, unless it has another coating of magnetic material (usually steel but not all steel is magnetic) like some models of all-clad, etc.it will not work on induction. Iron grills like Lodge or Le Creuset will scratch the ceramic glasstops of induction cookers.Finally a pan with a good core of aluminum and a round magnetic base of magnetic steel. Round is nice for induction also since you can place it in or on the circular markings of your induction range and get optimal performance. I have a Le Creuset but it is heavy, has a short handle and is not nonstick which is a problem with all the little grooves in a grill pan. And the base is square.This pan seems to hit all the major benefits of having an induction cooktop, but would be fine on any other cooktop as well. It has a magnetic round base, a thick aluminum core for even heating and is very non stick. It is a shame the first reviewer got a defective one because this is one pan you really should consider if you have induction. I do not plan on ever removing the handle, ever.

The handle would not tighten and I had to return it. I would not recommend the Fundix Nonstick Cast Aluminium Induction Grill Pan with Removable Handle.

excellent delivery and service, have had a non stick grill before, this is a replacement, excellent grill sturdy and very well made.

Really impressed with this pan, not cheap but I bought it to replace a cheap one which didn't cook well and was impossible to clean. The Castey looks smart, so far I have used it for steak and fish, it cooks quickly and efficiently, works perfectly on my induction hob and it is easy to detach the handle and put it in the oven. Most importantly to me, it washes completely clean afterwards with a simple sponge. My only criticism would be that I nearly broke it trying to detach the handle before I found the extremely small print on the packaging which explained about twisting the knob at the end of the handle; easy to do when you know how. Would very strongly recommend this pan.

I only wish I had purchased this item years ago!! Absolutely brilliant. A great time saver and very very easy to clean. After removing the handle the pan can be wahsed in the diswasher; however as it cleans so easily it has never been necessary.

Definitely worth the purchase. Good looks, the removable handle is a boon for storage. Cleans easily providing wiped out soon after use before washing. Cooks well.
