3 in 1 Plyometric Box: 12"x14"x16" Flatpack Puzzle Pieces

Needed this box for home Crossfit workouts due to the great pandemic. It's very easy to assemble, comes with a small bottle of wood glue and a bag of wood screws. The holes are pre-drilled. It took probably 15 minutes to put it together. It's a nice sturdy box, just like the ones in the gym.

This jump box has worked great since I purchased it a month ago and is sturdy and very easy to assemble!

This is great for doing plyometric routines. My only complaint is that this particular size has only two useful sides. With either the 16"x14" side facing up (jumping up 12") or the or the 16"x12" side facing up (jumping up 14") it works fine. But the 12"x14" side facing up is really too small for my size 12.5 feet. Probably okay for people with smaller feet, but I like, at a minimum, a slightly bigger landing surface.Assembly is a bit tricky to get everything 90 degrees. I used some wood brackets to facilitate this. I also reinforced the inside with some 2"x2" pieces and used plenty of wood glue. Once together, this thing is quite sturdy and very convenient.

First, be aware this box is small. Not large enough to do plyo exercises unless you are a child. Secondly, you must assemble on your own with GLUE! Not sure how it would hold up over time given that the idea is that you would be jumping on it. Finally, the instructions are NOT easy to follow. I've put together many items including complete treadmills with no issue but these instructions include pieces that are not shipped with item, reference pieces that are not marked as such and some pieces missing guide holes. I wanted to return this item due to the lack of a partition piece that the instructions refer to but the company told me I would have to pay for shipping both ways. I will drill my own guide holes and use as a storage box I guess. Waste of my money.

I appreciate the size of this box. It is great for compact spaces and at-home workouts. It was relatively easy to put together, though it does require thoughtful construction. Luckily I have a handy husband who likes building things. My complaint about this box is the cutout handles. They're essentially useless, unless of course you're using them to carry the box, which in my opinion is not the sole purpose of having handles on a plyo box. When using a plyo box one might expect the handles will be able to be held during various exercises. That is certainly not the case with this box and its handles. They're too low and completely inaccessible for box push ups and other upper body exercises. Perhaps this is a personal preference and not a universal complaint, but is a factor in my 3 star rating for this product.

I bought this to use at home because it is the same height at the benches at Orangetheory. I use it for steps up, Plyo moves, etc. there are a few moves where the box is a little too light and wants to wobble. But I just push it up against a wall and it’s fine.

This box is fantastic. The only drawback for me is that it isn't quite wide enough for my frame for certain exercises. Not the boxes fault though. It went together easily and is rock solid. It is a great product for a great price. My entire family is using it!

After putting it together, it is wobbly. I will be buying another one from another company. This one will become firewood at some point...expensive firewood.
