Awesome manga! Give it a try!
I watched the anime first and I really, really enjoyed it. So that's why I decided to start collecting these omnibuses. So far, from what I've read, the anime seems to cover the first 3 omnibuses (Chapters 1-30) panel by panel. If you were to just continue from 10th episode of the anime, you should pick up the 4th omnibus (Chapters 31-40), I'm pretty sure nothing important will be missed by skipping ahead. Also, if you want to collect the series, keep in mind that there are 9 English release volumes in total:- 8 omnibuses, each containing 2 Japanese release volumes. [Blood Lad volumes 1-8]- 1 individual volume. [Blood Lad volume 9]Overall, the art style is really cool, and the story and setting is really unique. There's sure to be laughs along the way too. Give this manga a try!

The only Vampire series I've ever been interested in
I don't remember exactly why, but while I was house sitting for a friend of mine away on vacation, I went out on the internet to find a new manga to read and somehow came across this: A story about a vampire who isn't really interested in being one and spends his days playing video games and obsessing over Japanese media. As I appeared to have uncanny similarities with the main character, I decided to pick up a copy of volume 1.I'm really happy I did. This series is funny and doesn't take itself too seriously, I can read it without feeling like I'm on the verge of tears and enjoy it early in the morning when I don't want to think too hard. The cast is charming, taking hints from different storybook tales of classic horror. The art style reminds me a bit of Bleach and there's a fair amount of fanservice, but it's worth it to watch Staz tear people to shreds.

Arrived in good condition
Arrived in good condition, right on time. The story itself is very good. I couldn't help but laugh in quite a few parts The art style is great, love it. The size of the book is is that of two regular manga, about 400 pages so you're basically reading 2 books with this one. All in all, a good by and I loved it. I'd recommend it.

Awesome series!
I bought Blood Lad because the description made it look interesting...and it was! I loved it! Staz is awesome and kinda reminds me of Rin Okumura from Blue Exorcist! I was surprised that the manga was so big when I got it so it's definitely worth the money! You get 10 chapters for a total of 352 pages! I can't wait until the second volume comes! Also, the anime of Blood Lad should be coming out this year!
