The media could not be loaded.  It’s a big job, requires some specialized tools and specialized skills, but the quality is there, and looking up videos on YouTube is a big help.I did have the slightest of trimming to do to the new parts, but I believe they were OEM parts, and needed a little custom fitting (no big deal; small plastic nubs needed trimmed off).

Well , this mechanism is easy to install but project that takes a full day has to be executed EXACTLY or it won't fix ur issue without causing others.The 3rd time I removed and reinstalled it it was nice.

It is not easy to do it but no impossible, just watch a video on YouTube. The result worth it.

Worked like a charm. Saved me SOOOOO much money. Just take your time getting it apart and pay attention to how stuff is oriented, it worked great!

Didn't realize until product had arrived that the entire sunroof (glass, tracks, and motor) had to be removed to be worked on. So that means removing the entire headliner before doing anything else. Make no mistake, this is not a quick, easy job. And good effin' luck trying to make sense of the instructions. I had to find some YouTube videos before I could continue and even after I completed the job successfully I still don't 100% understand the instructions. ALSO, BE AWARE, a rivet gun is required for this job. They provide the rivets in this kit but you need a rivet gun to install them. And having a second person handy when reinstalling the headliner would be ideal in order to make sure you have it perfectly centered. It's doable by yourself, but I don't advise it. Overall I am happy with this purchase as the sunroof is working again.

This product did solve my broken sunroof problem. If any Saab 9-7x owners are reading this, the job is doable. It took me about 6 hours working alone but it was not hard. The Saabs are a little different in how the trim is attached. More screws to remove. I did it this way: removed visors and supports, removed hand grips, removed hanger supports, removed a pillars, removed b pillars, removed c pillars/rear side window trim. Removed overhead light console...the trick to it is to remove the map light covers to locate the two screws. then you can use a long prybar or trim tool to seperate the headliner velcro. headliner comes down and rests on the seats. then i removed the bolts holding the sunroof assembly and lowered it down onto a box for support on the headliner. remive assembly through rear hatch then begin the repair process. Hope this helps in some small way!

Me llegaron unos muy distintos a los que salen en la foto y no se adapto a mi techo solar. Lamentablemente como ya instale el kit. No puedo intentar hacer la devolución

Better than expected. Works like new. 2004 GMC Envoy. Took about 3 hours. Provided Instructions are lacking. Watch the You Tube before starting, then disassemble/reassemble one side at a time using the other side as a reference. Clean the track completely with break cleaner before applying the new grease and seal the ends of the track cap with calk so it won't leak.
