Not large, would not hold more than 10 pounds and maybe only 5 if you want to hang by the cord but otherwise looks and works very well.We have the Onion Bag as well, which is identical except for the label.Note that this ships from the UK so if you are elsewhere it may take a while. Ours got here in about 10 days (USA).

I love this bag. It does the trick to keep my potatoes from turning green. I can now safely buy potatoes and notfeel like I must use them up in the next day or two. The bag is large enough for an average amount of potatoes,maybe 4 really large ones. Certainly a bag of fingerlings, new potatoes or medium bag of yukons.

I believe these bags keeps Potatos fresher longer.

You put in your taters, and then take them out again. Not much more to this bag! It does block the light very well and I have seen our spuds lasting longer, which is nice! It is attractive as well, which pleases my wife :)

want to save your potatoes? this is it. There are only two of us left at home now so those potatoes may lay around as much as a week before being used. I know there will be no worry about eyes on my potatoes, they are always ready for cooking.

We purchased both the onion and potato storage bags. It's convenient to have the potatoes readily accessible, but we've found that this bag does not do as well at keeping potatoes fresh as the onion bag does with onions.

The potato bag holds about five pounds of potatoes. The onion bag is more than big enough. In fact, we are using it for sweet potatoes. The bags look good and seem to be well made. Very satisfied.

I buy fresh potatoes every week and by the end of the week, they were always sprouting due to the packaging from the supermarket. This bag has changed that, I am no longer wasting potatoes and they last a lot longer than normal. The zip is a useful feature to get a potato out when needed very quick and easy.

I think every family that loves potatoes and don't like spoilage should have this. I always hated throwing potatoes out because they spoiled before I got through the bag, but since using this my potatoes last longer, and no sputs from the potatoes.I love this.

I bought these to repalce two that I had purchased two years ago from the poundshop at, you guessed, a pound eachthese look exactly the same, except sturdier and slightly larger - ok they are more expensive, even allowing for factored in delivery, but they look worth it; they have the 'blackout' lining and side zip as beforeone thing though - these will not prevent potatoes sprouting, just delay that process; if they are about to sprout when you buy them, they will; same goes for old pototoes that are damp, they will tend to rot; in this regard the seller may be a bit over enthusiastic :)

Keeps them fresh longer in tge darkness of the bag.
