Schott NYC Men's Jacket

I have had a similar Schott jacket for over 25 years and it's still going strong. This jacket appears to be just as good quality and is very warm, even without the additional lining. Fit is snug but I like it that way.

Schott only make great, classic jackets. I`ve had a number of these over the past 30 years and the qualityhas never diminished. If you want a great leather jacket (and can afford this one) it`s the only choice.

Too small..

Lovely jacket however the sizing is ridiculous. Returning this XXL, which is my usual size in all coats, as this jacket is nearer a medium in real terms. I would need a 4XXL if l were to purchase. Also the attached Schott sizing chart is incorrect for this foreign import. Amazon should really check information prior to listing.

My son loves this jacket. Saw a young man from Vancouver 30 years ago wearing this same style jacket and apparently always wanted one BUT could not find one over here. Now constantly wearing it and enjoying it.

This is a medium/heavy weight cow hide jacket. The fit is moderately on the small size when the gillet is fitted.The quality of the leather and the construction is very good - it is the kind of jacket you can really throw around without undue concern.The leather is medium/heavy so can feel a little stiff at first and has a hint of a "meaty" smell - this would perhaps not be appropriate for a ladies jacket but as this is marketed as a robust "manly" jacket I quite like the oudor. (The leather does become more subtle with wear as you would expect and the smell fades).The jacket comes with a detachable sheepskin collar which feels premium (a number of similar Schott jackets such as the LC930 only come with a faux sheepskin collar!?) and a removable gillet for additional/optional warmth.The gillet is secured via zips and very secure press-studs. It makes the jacket feel a little tighter and is VERY warm when in position (personally I removed the gillet as the jacket is warm enough without it - even in winter in the North East of England ;-) ). The gillet is a little bit "rustlely" but a useful addition which similar Schott jackets do not feature.The price of this jacket seems to fluctuate almost daily on Amazon. The "going rate" is around £380 direct from Schott so anything around the £300 mark is a fair deal.This is a great jacket - I recommend it.

Cuero de vaca desnudo, collar de oveja según el catálogo del fabricante, chaleco interior amovible con bolsillos, dos exteriores y uno interior, buenos acabados con cremalleras y botones robustos y de calidad personalizados con la marca, un montón de bolsillos.La tabla de tallas, en contra de otros comentarios es perfecta. Pecho de 95 cm y la S con el chaleco montado me permite un jersey de lana fino y camiseta, -2° hoy al trabajo y como si nada.El peso es ridículamente alto pero, como digo, todo se ve de mucha calidad y el grosor del cuero hace pensar que es una chaqueta que mejorará a medida que la utilices.

Die ewige Frage nach der Grösse - gerade bei US Herstellern, die oft um Brust und Bauch rum weit geschnitten sind... Ich bin 181cm, 83kg, durchschnittlicher Körpertyp, Brustumfang ca. 106cm und habe Grösse L bestellt.Grösse L passt wie angegossen. Die Jacke liegt gut an, zwängt aber nicht ein. Ich kann sie zum T-Shirt tragen, oder einen Sweater darunter ziehen. Die Jacke gibt etwas nach. Auch die Länge (vor Allem die Rückenlänge) fällt nicht zu kurz aus, wie dies bei manchen Fliegermodellen der Fall ist. Hier stimmt auch die Rückenlänge und reicht bei mir genau bis zum oberen Rand der hinteren Taschen einer klassischen Levis 501 Jean. Auch die Ärmel passen, sind nicht zu kurz, nicht zu lang.Die Jacke wirkt brandneu etwas "gestylt". Ich trage seit 20 Jahren Lederjacken und habe gute Erfahrungen gemacht sie bei leichten Regen zu tragen und dann "an mir" trocknen zu lassen. Niemals in der Sonne oder über einen Heizkörper trocknen. Nach ein paar Wiederholungen wirkt die Jacke weniger "gestylt" und eingetragen und passt sich (im positiven Sinne) dem Körper an. Vor der Regenprozedur behandle ich meine (Glatt)Lederjacken mit farblosen Lederfett. Hier ist weniger "mehr".Wie mein Vorredner schon geschrieben hat, verfügt das gegenwärtige Modell über genügend Taschen sowohl Innen als auch Aussen. Für die wärmere Jahreszeit lässt sich der Lammfellkragen und auch die Innenweste abnehmen und macht die Jacke somit sommer- und wintertauglich. Das Rindsleder ist weich aber nicht auf dem Niveau einer Ziege oder Lamm - dies ist auch nicht erwünscht. Der Leder scheint robust, das Grundgewicht ist gerade richtig, die Verarbeitung bei meinem Modell über alle Zweifel erhaben. Dies ist meine 4. Jacke von Schott. Im Vergleich zu meinem US-Modell erkenne ich keine Unterschiede.Ich habe mich für den Braunton entschieden. Dieser ist dunkel. Bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen wirkt die Jacke fast schwarz, bei Tageslicht Tiefbraun. Nach meiner Ansicht lässt sich die Jacke gut zu Chinohosen mit Sneaker (urban), aber auch zu Jeans mit Boots (casual) tragen. Natürlich macht sie auch als Pilot im eigenen Flugzeug eine gute Figur :))Spitzenprodukt von Schott!

BonjourJ'ai pris la taille recommandé par le vendeur (une taille au dessus de ma taille normale) et c'est parfait pour pour moi. Le prix avec réduction moins 60 pour cent. C est correct. Vu lieu de fabrication.Le cuir est très rigide et lourd mais c'est un blouson pour plusieurs années.Conclusion je suis très satisfait.Cordialement.

Si quieres una chaqueta de cuero de verdad, esta es tu chaqueta. La calidad y grosor de la piel es extraordinaria. Los acabados espectaculares, cosidos, costuras etc. Viene con un chaleco interior que lo puedes poner y quitar para el frío. Probada yendo en moto a 2 grados de temperatura y no te enteras del frío. Cuando llega, la piel es tan gruesa que cuesta adaptarse a ella pero a medida que la vas usando se adapta al cuerpo como un guante. Tienes chaqueta para un montón de aňos.
