We do meals every week and these are very sturdy and hold 2 plus pounds of food. The lids seal up very nice to prevent leaking. I have purchased these 3 times.

I purchased these to make food in for storage for freezing then baking in. The size is just the right size for my spouse and I to have an easy meal. I made some chicken alfredo and froze it in them. The lid is cardboard with a silver colored finish on one side and plain paper on the other.The description doesn't really state whether you can bake with the lid. Well, I tried it both ways using the silver surface next to the food and on top. Both ways were a bust. I baked these in my Breville counter top convection oven. Let me first say that - these lids are paper, so I would not keep them on to bake. The lids are mainly for just sealing while freezing.I had my oven set to 375 degrees and the lid started to burn. So I woud NOT suggest baking with them on, because let's face it, it is paper. But it works perfectly for freezer storage. The top of the container folds over to hold is in for freezeing. Then remove it when you want to bake it, or cover it with some aluminum foil if it needs to be covered.What I would suggest doing if you want to bake with a lid, is to place a sheet of aluminim foil on top, then apply the paper lid, and fold over the sides for storage. Then when you are ready, remove the paper lid and bake with the aluminum foil on. Saves time.

I use these to make a larger quantity recipe so that I can make some for the freezer and to give to friends and family. I can label and write instructions and dates on the lids.

I've been using these for a couple of years and they are an absolute must have for leftovers. I just put the leftovers in them, write the name and date on the top and pop them in the freezer. It's wonderful to have the food available and they're sturdy so I just remove the top and put them in the oven. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Unfortunately I didn’t read the sizing correctly as I need larger. But I use disposable pans like crazy for cooking large quantities and storage of leftovers. For my large family, dishes pile up quickly and there’s never enough time to do chores.

These are awesome for making a smaller cake or meal. The lids are very heavy duty so no freezer burn. I recommend these.

Not flimsy like the ones at the dollar store. I used them to make freezer meals and each one has enough to really make it two meals or have leftovers. (For one person).
