My dog started voiding on the carpet in protest
My three dogs will only eat Nutrish - they love it. We have been feeding it to them for years. As they are all large breeds, we decided to try this formula. On the second night - we found excrement on the dining room rug (didn't know the culprit). None of our dogs had ever done this in the house. We cleaned it and it happened again, and again. We finally caught our 10 yo, the most highly obedient of our dogs , in the act. We separated him from the area and put in the laundry room overnight, where he did it again. Finally - we switched back to the regular Nutrish - no more poop in the house. BTW - it was not loose stool, so not a tummy issue. We really think he did not like this formula. Our 3 yo Border Collie barely ate it. Only our 2 yo that will eat anything didn't have an issue with it. Very strange.

Dog almost died, nails in bag
So glad I was looking when I poured her bowl, this was in the food! Not going to feed her any more of this bag, my other dog is throwing up and I'm freaking out, that there were more, tomorrow I'm going to look through the bag to see if I find more.

My dog is getting sick after eating the chicken flavored dog food (Rachael Rays)
I fed the chicken flavored dog food to my dog and she got sick two days in a row after I fed her. I’ve ordered the beef flavored hoping it is easier for my dog (large) to keep the food down. A friend of mine told me that the chicken flavored dog food of Rachael Rays was getting her dogs sick so she switched to beef and all is fine. I hope that the producer of Rachael Rays Product will check into specifically the chicken dog food to make sure all is well. I realize that the possibility of my dog already being sick however she isn’t acting sick she just gets sick after eating 1 cup of dog food, two days in a row. I plan on feeding her some cat food until I receive Rachael Rays beef flavored dog food. If my dog gets sick after eating the dry cat food tonight I will post an update to this review stating so. I just hope she’s not letting them use her name on the dog food packages for the money.

Our Golden Doodle loves it!
Our vet wanted us to buy Royal Canin for our dog. It was about $80 for 25 lbs. So we decided to try Rachael Ray because of the similar ingredients and twice the amount of food for half the price. One of the Vets requirements was that there needed to be a quality grain in the food. It seems, contrary to popular belief, that there should be some grains in the dog food. My understanding is that there could be a related heart issue with some dogs if there is no grain in the food. The Rachael Ray food has similar ingredients and quality grain. So we gave it a try. Well, our dog loves it! We've been giving it to her for close to a month now. She seems to have more energy and is not as lazy as she was before. And she always finishes her food, which she almost never did before.

Misled! BUYER BEWARE!!
I'D GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULDI thought this was an incredible deal and was so excited to be able to find affordable food for my money pit-- err... dog. When I opened the bag, though, the first thing I noticed is that the shape and color of the kibble looked NOTHING like what Rachel Ray's description and pictures had. Alarmed, I decided to not feed my dog this because I had no idea if this was actually Nutrish, or some knock off. I will never buy this again and am afraid that it was a complete waste of money. Instead, I use Chewy.com and feed her Diamond Naturals, which does an auto subscription with a discount as well.

Caused my dog to become very sick!
I first purchased this brand/flavor at my local store as a convenience and recommendation. My 2 dogs (ages 9 & 7) both have sensitive stomachs, and are used to expensive brands of kibble. Although they have had many different brands of food in their lifetime, we have stuck with one brand for the last 4 years. We recently moved and I noticed they were refusing to eat their normal brand of food. This brand was also less accessible in the area we moved to, so we bought this Rachel Ray Nutrish brand and mixed what we had left of our other brand. They seemed to love this RR Nutrish food and would scarf down their food so fast. Over the last month, I noticed they constantly needed to poo everytime we took them out (3x a day). Over the last 2 weeks, both of them developed severe diarrhea and one of them also was vomitting. I immediately stopped feeding them this food, and have switched to cooking homemade dog food. I looked into more in-depth reviews and found a lot of other pet owners had the same issue. I also have a coworker who had this happen to her family cat with the Nutrish Cat food.I am now stuck with a 40lb bag of food that I refuse to feed my dogs. The bags I received from amazon were also always more oily and greasy, leaking onto kitchen floor - compared to the bag of Nutrish purchased at my local store. Not sure why. Please be weary and careful when feeding your pet this brand. I thought I could trust it, but apparently not.

Best nutritious dog food for the money!
I had been feeding my dog a different brand that I thought was the best but after doing some research I decided to switch her. Best decision I made because after her eating this for 2 months she lost 5 lbs and she loves this kibble! I’m saving a ton of money and my dog loves this food. Win, win.

Not Rachel rays dog food, no proof, just a feeling.
I had been buying this for my 2 large dogs, (for over a year I’ve been purchasing this) and was so excited that Rachel ray has food for large dogs, and hip and joint health. About a month or so ago, they all of a sudden didn’t have any in stock, when I’ve never had that problem before. So I looked anywhere and everywhere for this same bag of Rachel rays dog food, and couldn’t find it anywhere!!! For a while my dogs weren’t interested in eating this food, so I would add boiled chicken, and rice just to get them to eat. Now that I’ve stopped buying this food, and gotten Rachel rays food from Walmart, my dogs hear the food in the bowl and run to eat. I cannot say for sure, it’s just a feeling that this is fake Rachel ray dog food. Now that I’ve become aware, my dogs would randomly not want to eat, and would get diarrhea, and upset stomachs. I believe this food was the culprit, but at the time I just figured they had gotten into something they shouldn’t have. I’m not saying don’t buy this food, but I’m saying I will never buy this again.
