Lickleys Twin Cup Ice Cream and Slush Maker for Ice Cream, Gelato Frozen Yogurt, Sorbets

Bought this as a wee extra to wrap for my son thinking it would get used twice and live in the cupboard. It is never off. I cannot believe how easy it is to use and how delicious the ice cream is. Iv never made it before so to produce it and see it devoured in 3 mins was good and heart breaking at the same time:) i bought whipping cream, castor sugar, vanilla essence and a few bags of frozen fruit to get started and actually doesn't work out that expensive. The only thing i would say is once the mixture is in the cups u have about 5 seconds to get it mixing or it freezes to the cups. The cups really need overnight in the freezer but honestly it's one of the best wee machines we've got and for ther price and taste im thinking of buying another simply for more cups.

Love this product, but needs to go back in freezer after mixing to form up. Great size for large portion of icecream. Just the thing on a warm summers day

First experience: I had my doubts given the amazing low price. I followed instructions and it went wonderfully well. The machine does exactly what it is supposed to do. The time and difference in results, I believe, comes from the ingredients used. My pictures show a coffee and pumpkin flavour. The coffee took ages because the mix was very liquid. I put pumpkin purée in the other and it was ready in 2/3 minutes. The only issue I expect I might have in the future with this machine comes from the locking system between the lid (clear plastic) and the electrical component that sits on top of it. The two tiny parts that join the two pieces together look like the kind of stuff that will only last if handled very delicately and even with all precautions it might break easy.

I literally can't believe this works!!! The first time I used the machine I kind of winged the recipe, put the cup into freezer over night, put the mixture into the cup then placed it on the stand and churned away. As I had expected, it didn't work, it just made nice cold flavoured milk :) but I wasn't going to give up that easily. I placed both cups into the freezer over night along with the churn whisk things and put packs of peas into the cups to give them a little extra help. I followed an actual vegan ice cream recipe this time which involved cooking oats and cooling in fridge over night then blending all ingredients and chilling in the fridge for another few hours. I followed the instructions that came with the machine this time, put the frozen cups onto the machine and turned on to churn before pouring the cold mixture through the top. I was still dubious but after about 25 minutes I had amazing soft serve chocolate mint and maple honeycomb ice cream, I couldn't believe it!!!! AMAZING!!!!My favourite thing about this machine is the cup size (fit nicely in my small under counter freezer) and the fact that you can make two flavours at once. For the price you simply can't go wrong.I would note that I filled both cups a little over 3/4 full and by the time the ice cream had churned it had risen all the way to the top of the machine, so I had to clean under the lid which was a little tedious. I won't fill the cups as much the next time.

Like the design because it's overall size is small enough not to take over the work surface, but you still get a decent amount using the 2 cups. However I can never get the ice cream completely frozen, it always stays a bit liquid in the middle. I leave the cups in the freezer as advised, the liquid I use is already chilled, I've tried varying times to leave it churning, but can never achieve it all to be frozen. Shame because price and design are good, it even turns juice into slushies

Very reliable delivery from seller. But have to leave an honest review, I feel disappointed and duped into wasting my money, have tried a few times both with a professional ice cream mix, another recipe and plain cooled water, if plain water does not freeze, nothing else is likely to. Have also followed instructions to the letter and tried various tips from other Amazon reviewers, I have also wasted time and more money on ingredients.Stars awarded are for ordering and delivery experience only. I am feeling extremely annoyed and puzzled.

Brilliant ice cream maker. So easy to use 3 year old loves doing this with me. No sharp bits So he can help put together to. He loves to watch it. You can make great flavours and a nice little recipe book. Instructions are easy to follow

I used a readymix ice cream. I put the cups in the freezer for 24 hours. It began to freeze the cream mixture but then went to liquid before it got to the consistency of ice cream, I had to put it in the freezer so I had impatient and disappointed children. The instructions are not clear. I’d not recommend this product and if I’d used it sooner, probably would have returned it as I’m not saiisfied.

Ho provato a fare sia un sorbetto che il gelato, ma purtroppo nulla, non sn riuscito s tirare fuori neanche una crema semifluida, purtroppo il contenitore passati circa 30 min aveva finito il suo potere gelificante, ma il composto all’interno era completamente liquido. Forse sbaglio io qualcosa, non só faro altre prove. Se qualcuno che lo usa ha qualche consiglio da darmi ne sarei molto felice
