This is such a simple idea but has been a godsend to me. Having recently had to use a special shampoo on my dog that had to be left on for 15 minutes before rinsing I thought “no way will she stand still for that length of time”. I found this on Amazon and knew this would work because my dog will do anything for food and treats. It has suckers that attach to the shower tiles and keeps her occupied. I spread doggy peanut butter, banana or natural yoghurt on and pop it in the freezer and it’s always ready to use. I use it when I’m showering her or if I’m going out and having to leave her. It works a treat so thank you whoever invented this simple solution.

Great product to use for conditioning your dog to having his/her nails trimmed. Easy enough to clean with a brush and space enough that the dog can get the contents out without becoming frustrated.

This lick mat is silicone with a nobbly texture. It looks smaller than some others but the fact that the depth between the bumps is greater than many mats means it is able to hold plenty.The mat can be frozen both slowing down the rate dogs can finish it and providing a great way to help cool dogs down in hot weather.It has 3 suction cups with a lip to remove it easily. These are positioned around the edge. Others have more suction cups but they are underneath the food area meaning it could be messy to put it in place. It sticks very well to the fridge door and the boards in my wet room. However, I was surprised to find it would not stick to an ordinary varnished door.It definitely takes the stress out of brushing my dog. She isn't keen on lying still to get brushed but this makes it so easy and stops her getting stressed. Plus it's easier to brush her when she is standing.Easy to clean & dishwasher safe.

I never understood how a stubborn Golden Retriever can triple its body weight when presented with bath time, we bought one of these to encourage him to go willingly into our walk in shower in a desperate attempt to avoid the sumo style wrestling that occurred every time we even hinted that our beloved dog enter the bathroom. Well I can say this worked beyond my wildest dreams, a little bit of smooth peanut butter chilled down to make it more of a challenge and we were away, we started by putting the device on the outside of the shower, just to get him used to going in the bathroom, which although he started off very suspicious of our motives he was overwhelmed by the power of the peanut butter. Immediately we moved it into the cubicle. He again went into extreme suspicion mode, but just left to his own devices started to poke his head into the shower, and eventually went in of his own accord.... At which point we pounced! Even with the shower wand giving him a good soaking he was so blissed out on the peanut butter the entire process went by without a hitch. We've used this for a couple of bathtimes and each time same result. Amazing product! One note, the suckers will only stick to smooth surfaces so if you've got rough tiles you'll need to use the glass portions of the shower. If you use crunchy peanut butter the nuts clog up between the bumps and our dog loses interest. We found for best results smooth peanut butter liberally applied then frozen or chilled would give the best results. Highly recommended.Update: Just Wow, he now wags his tail and rushes to the bathroom and even into the shower as soon as he sees the blue lick pad coming out !! Absolutely astonished at the success of this product and can be used for grooming and nail grinding too!!

a really promising product we were excited (as was the dog) to try this. used a couple of times whilst we were with her then left it as a treat for her as i went to work...i know it says not a chew toy, but the dog cannot read and after just 3 uses now i arrived home to many pieces, very disappointed as i mistakenly believed that it would occupy her. the lickimat is great too but now i daren't leave it for her when we are out.

The suction didn’t work on my kitchen tiles, but does in bathroom.My collie instantly decided this was a chew toy and in seconds nearly had one of the wings off. Be warned, be ready! I tried introducing one of these to each of my 3 dogs. By the time I had put the third one down the first had been chewed!I think as I and the dogs get more skilled they will be excellent for occupying them while I do the little buts of doggie care that have to be done.

Great tool for puppies or anxious dogs I think! I tried it for the first time today and my puppy was soooo busy trying to get the little peanut butter I spread there! Will try this in different scenarios with things he’s not sure of yet like shower and grooming I think and see how it goes.

We use this only for giving baths. Works great for our puppy! She loves getting into the bathtub with this Triangle lick matt we put almond butter on and then freeze it. After the 2nd time she would whimper to get into the bathroom and tried to get into the tub. Good quality, holds while giving a bath and keeps her attention while giving a bath and then we put it on the outside of the tub to blow dry her. I do not write reviews often but, I do like this product.
