DO NOT BUY THESE LIGHTS!!!
I can tell you I am impressed with the Brighter Light 1380 lumen Par 38- After much deliberation, reading all LED light reviews on internet, I decided to give these a try along with 2 other competing brands listed below.1)Brighter Light 1380 lumen Par 38 3000k 120 W Equivalent Non Dimmable2)Satco 880 lumens 3000k, .3)Genuine Great Eagle PAR38 IdealK Bulb. 15W = 120W Equivalent ETL Listed 3000K 1260 lumensI am replacing 2700k 60w and 120 w incandescentEach bulb was priced about the same, but the Brighter light bulb was clearly- head and shoulders above the others.1st, With Brighter Light bulb you will have a much brighter, cleaner looking, uplifting, inviting light in comparison to the others. All the Bulbs tested were listed as 3000k , therefore you would think all would be close in color output, but that was not the case- The Brighter light bulb was in my view a true 3000k + bulb, each of the others were comparable in my view to 2700, much more yellow, warmer color and the Genuine Great Eagle bulb was casting a slight greenish color kind of weird because color varied slightly between the Great Eagle bulbs.2nd, Light output with the Brighter light Bulb was truly equivalent to 120 W bulb being replaced- very impressive bright light...Hence the name Brighter Light . Both other bulbs light output were disappointing in comparison to Brighter Light, as they both put out slightly more than my 60 W incandescent in spite Great Eagle advertizing 120 W Equivalent.3rd, Degree beam angle with Great Eagle and Brighter light was comparable and perfect directing light on the countertops as compared to Satco 105 degree beam light was spread out.4th, Brighter light and Great Eagle are both equally attractive looking bulb and very well made and I like where both bulbs will recess in the light fixture about a 1/2 inch further therefore eliminating occasional glare, as compared to Satco which resembles the incandescent I replaced in looks , shape and size.In Summary- I would definitely choose Brighter Light Bulb anywhere you will need a true 120 W equivalent -Brighter more uplifting, cleaner, more friendly inviting light- Kitchen, Bathroom, office, spot. As for Satco and Great Eagle both work ideally for areas that may require a dimmable warmer(more yellow) lower Wattage lighting requirements such as living room bedroom, hallway would be ideal. Satco will resemble your incandescent bulb should you need to match bulbs.Hope this will offer some guidance in your lighting decision...I am compelled to update my review: Yes I have had a few lenses fall of, however the company gave me an acceptable fix, of which was acceptable...THE REAL PROBLEM IS THE 24 LIGHTS I PURCHASED 6 HAVE ALREADY BURNT OUT...I WROTE THE COMPANY AND HAVE NOT HAD A REPLY AS OF TODATE 6-24-2015...EBAY REFUNDS ARE GOOD FOR 30 DAYS THEN YOU ARE AT THE MERCY OF THE COMPANY!!! JUST BE AWARE!!!

Ridiculously bright and well made.
The Good: Low power consumption. A great hot spot with some throw for light that reaches far from the source, as well as wonderful flood lighting of roughly 40 degrees. Expected bulb life may exceed my house. Very nice, high CRI light output. Very little heat output. Instant full brightness. The bad: They cost a little more than CFL flood lights or halogens.Final thoughts: This light is absolutely head and shoulders above any other general purpose outdoor flood light I own. It produces massive lumens and a very clean and artifact-free beam of a very pleasing and warm tint. It throws light just as far as the 150 watt focused halogens I have used in the past, uses even less energy than the wimpy cfl's that were supposed to match this light's ouput but don't even come close. I replaced 6 cfl flood lights with 2 of these and 4 25 degree focused LED lights and the first time I turned them on I started laughing in shock of how bright they were. I honestly never imagined that these lights would perform so well. Don't waste any more time with wimpy cfl's that take forever to get to their full (weak) output or halogens that get super hot and chug electricity. Step up to high output leds and know you have the highest quality, power conserving, and environmentally friendly lights available and that they should last indefinitely. Plus they will impress your friends.

Stay away from these
I would rate the lights as 5 star, however due to poor packaging all bulbs arrived with numerous scratches on the lens surface.I ordered 6 of these to go in 3 motion lights, they arrived in a large box with no packing material. The lamps are not very well protected in their own boxes and were free to tumble around in the larger box (the 6 took up about 30% of the box space). As a result, all lamps have heavily scratched lenses and some other minor chips. It is not worth returning since they are functional and are being used outdoors. The seller I used is Brighter Light, Inc - not sure if they packed or these were done by Amazon. The lamps are very nice and work well with my motion lights. They are very bright and I didn't need dimming functionality.----------------------------------------Update: 50% failed within the first year and they are no longer available. Replaced all remaining lamps with a different brand.

Don't make the mistake I did
I purchased two of these lights and installed them, unfortunately, in recessed cans in a high ceiling, expecting they would last like LEDs and not require changing again. Foolish me. The lens fell out of the first one within a few weeks, and the second dropped its lens and went out completely after about six months. I replaced them with 2nd generation Cree bulbs that our electrician told us he had better luck with. They're working well after several months. Forget Brighter Light.

Cheaply made, Lense and Reflectors are falling off one at a time after a few days.
I have purchased a thousand items over the years and this is my first negative review. These lights are very poorly built. The lens and reflector fall off after a day or so. One almost took out my cat falling from a 20 foot ceiling. I purchased 6 and had one bad out of the box. The color also is not as warm as advertised. It would look great in a commercial store or clothing store, but not in a home. Thankfully Amazon stands behind and I had to return them all.

These are great for my outdoor lighting
These are great for my outdoor lighting. I'd had incandescant bulbs burn out near a door that is opened/closed a lot. My logic was these LED bulbs don't have a filament to break, and would be more energy efficient at the same time. They actually throw out a lot of light in a pretty wide cone - a bit wider and brighter than the incandescants they replaced. Color temp is a bit bluer than incandescant - perfectly usable, just an observation.
