Nicely made comfortable weight
very pleased with the quality of the shirt. Material is a heavy weight fabric, but still very comfortable to wear. The two XL is true to size.

Nice Shirt Made of Excellent Material - But a Bit Disproportional in the Fit
This is a good looking shirt, made of excellent material. It's a surprisingly heavy fabric, something to keep in mind if/when purchasing.Overall, I am happy with the purchase. One note, however: the arms are a bit long for an X-Large, and is out of proportion with the rest of the shirt. Overall, a great value.

Quality shirt. Not too blousy.
I'm 5'11" and hover around 175-180 lbs. so I'm a pretty average guy. I've been thin my whole life but now I'm in my 40's so if I don't watch it, my stomach will get bigger. I bought this shirt in slim-fit first. It was perfect but since these shirts are 100% cotton, I was concerned that after a couple washings, it would be too small (especially in the stomach area). I returned the slim-fit and bought this regular-fit (medium). For this review, I thought it would be helpful to compare the Amazon Essentials shirt to The Gap's regular oxford shirt.I've always liked the fit of Gap oxford shirts. Upon inspection, the weight and feel of the Amazon oxford cloth is exactly the same at the Gap's.I laid one of my old Gap shirts on top of this Amazon Essentials oxford. You can see from the pictures that the torso cut is exactly the same (about 21 inches pit-to-pit seam). I like that. I'm not a fat guy and I don't want a blousy shirt. This is neither too blousy nor too slim. Just right. The sleeves are perhaps 1/2 inch longer than the Gap shirt. Perhaps one negative is the tail. The Amazon Essentials tail is 1.5-2" longer than the Gap shirt. This makes the Amazon Essentials shirt a touch long for wearing untucked in my opinion. However, if you do tuck, a longer shirt stays tucked-in. So it depends how you want to wear it. I have a lady who does alterations. She'll charge $10 to shorten the tail if I wanted that. If I do have the Amazon shirt altered, it would still be a bargain. These are good quality shirts with a nice cut to them. I won't hesitate to buy them again. Highly recommended.

A good, not great, shirt
This is a nice enough shirt especially at the price point. It seems well made. If not for the low price I'd be a bit disappointed for the following reasons: The fabric is thick and heavy. It's nice and soft, but this is a winter shirt and not a 3 season one. The pink is so light it's like someone washed a white shirt with something pink or red and the color bled just a little.

Good quality/price; may want to go up a size from chart to allow for shrinkage
[See update below} I wasn’t expecting great quality for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. The material is decent thickness and stitching seems to be pretty good. Time will tell regarding durability, fading, etc.I went with the size chart and the shirts received fit perfectly out of the packaging. That being said, they did shrink a tad from the first wash and are now just slightly snug in the shoulders. Hopefully they do not shrink more from consecutive washes. If you like a little room in your shirt, I recommend going up a size.[Update] I ordered the dark blue and blue in large and have worn for two seasons now. I tried a few others in the same price range and none compare to these shirts in thickness of material, collar size (on me) and quality. I have tried on some better brands as well, not as thick and the collars are huge on me. These are the best by far for me. Amazon Essentials, if you are reading this, make this shirt in some more colors like dark green and maybe dark red/burgundy. There used to be a green/blue check that wasn't bad either but I personally think solids are best for a thicker shirt like this.
