Tony Chachere's 26064 Original Creole Seasoning, 17 Ounce

A few years ago I decided to have a go at some southern style cooking, I tried a few UK/EU brands and felt that the flavour was not right! So after some internet investigation and reading lots of recipes and reviews I decided to go with two Old Bay and Tony Chachere's. For my taste Tony's wins hand's down. It's so good you're find yourself using it on all sorts of food.

Really great for adding a bit of something to almost any dish. As others have mentioned, it is pretty salty, so I wouldn't add any salt as well. This bigger version was cheaper than the smaller one too when I bought it.

My son bought one of these home from a trip to America and we have been using ever since. The Seasoning has a bit of a kick to it but that's what we like. Would definitely recommend you try ti's product.

I ordered this for my dad as he cant live without it. delivery to the uk was faster than expected however it is quite price if you dont have prime... But it was worth the money my dad enjoyed it!

This is the best and most flavorful seasoning mix in the world. It will wake up boring or mundane dishes. Just use in place of salt. Thank me later😉

Vorneweg: Unser deutscher Zoll hat das Paket einkassiert, weil in einer Gewürzdose ja durchaus ganz schlimme Dinge sein könnten. Also hat meine Bestellung eine wahre Odysee hinter sich. Post, DHL, Zoll... Dort durfte ich dann auch persönlich erscheinen und musste das Paket öffnen und erklären.Vor Ort hat sich alles recht schnell aufgeklärt, heiter und gelöst durfte ich dann mein Gewürz mit nach Hause nehmen. Da der Ablauf aber insgesamt fast 3 Wochen gedauert hat, wurde ich währenddessen mehrfach vom Verkäufer kontaktiert, dem das ganze sehr leid tat und er mir eine Erstattung angeboten hatte. Was kann der arme Kerl für unseren deutschen Zoll? Also habe ich es während der ganzen Zeit mit Humor genommen und mitgeteilt, dass wir halt Geduld haben müssen.Letztendlich hat er mir eine Rückerstattung eingeleitet, obwohl das gar nicht hätte sein müssen - quasi als Entschädigung für die lange Wartezeit.Nun zum Gewürz: Ich benötige es, um damit Texas Steakhouse Reis zuzubereiten. Da das Rezept bzw. der Reis speziell nur in Amerika zu bekommen ist, heißt das natürlich auch in der USA bestellen. Hierzulande ist das Seasoning und der spezielle Reis recht unbekannt. Es ist also genau das, was ich bestellt und erwartet habe - Danke dafür!
