I tried the Voice switcher application Version 1.2 SDK Version:2.09.09.02119 on my android smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S8+).For the moment I am waiting for an updated Version because the switch is not still recognized by the Wifi 2.4G network and I cannot manage it by Alexa :-(.If possible in a reasonable lap, I will update this review.--------------------------- one month later ------------------------As suggested on the Amazon website (but not by the multiple email exchanges), I was able to have my 2 switches recognized by the application by selecting China instead of the USA.Unfortunately, the operation remains very capricious: the switches often disconnect and display on the smartphone an input that does not correspond to reality.In addition, the names of the 2 switches are very long and similar (such as "Switcher 98D8632CXXXX" and "Switcher 98D8632CYYYY") and probably cannot be simplified so that Alexa can easily order them by voice.I would really have liked to be able to use them according to the specifications, but in the end, they leave a lot of frustration.I send them back until Amazon or its suppliers find REALLY operational and reliable HDMI switches with Alexa.

Tried numerous times to download the app using QR reader as instructions say and the webpage keeps timing out. Contacted support via chat and they were not much help, they suggested trying another device, I don't have another device that's charged. I wanted to get Alexa working with this but it's a pain. I finally gave up and tried using my Harmony Hub and it now works. If you have a Harmony Hub you could use it and forget the non working application. Shouldn't any HDMI Switcher with a remote work with Harmony Hub? If so then why buy this junk?

I was so disappointed when I tried to install this product. The instructions are a terrible translation (Chinese --> English) in teeny tiny type in badly translated English. On my iPhone, some of the hyperlinks are on top of each other, one shade of blue over another shade of blue. In one place there are three lines of text on top of each other. Yeah -- try to figure that out.I tried the Get Product Support button and was transferred to five (maybe more) different people until I got to Alfred B in the Echo Support department. We worked together via online chat until we solved the problem, and the product works fine now. The big problem was the links on top of each other issue. Maybe use something with a bigger screen than an iPhone. I wish I had tried on my iPad. And another thing, it doesn't work over 5G. I'm not sure how to rate the product, which seems fine. It's the instructions that are horrendous. I'd give a 5 star rating for Alfred B's service, but I have to consider the instructions to be part of the product, so I'm giving the product 3 stars.

This product does NOT work as advertised. First, the app is not functional. Tried it on both Ios and Android. Does NOT bind the switch. In fact I returned the first unit thinking that it was a bad unit. The second unit has the same exact issues. With out the unit connected to the WifI network you cant use it with Alexa either for voice commands.Maybe I am wrong. Or doing something wrong but there is NO one you can contact for support either.Don't waste your time. I do not know how a couple of the reviewers got their unit to work on the network.Maybe the seller can send us better instructions or command.

I had a lot of problems setting this up. For some reason it didn't like my Samsung phone and I had to complete the setup using my Kindle Fire. I also had problems with my Fire Cube not seeing my TV at first. I had to try linking the accounts together many times before it took. Now that it is working I don't see any issues with it. The instructions are poorly written by someone who didn't speak English.

A troubling start. The app URL via QR takes me to a site that is not responding. Since the name of the app is "Voice Switcher", Android Play Store brings up apps for changing voice, and not an app for HDMI switcher. Without the app, I cannot use it with Alexa. I am concerned that given their app download site is unavailable now, how long the site will be up to work with Alexa even if I am able to find and download the app.

Now with this WiFi HDMI Switcher , I can easily switch my TV game box , Blu-Ray Player and Apple TV .The most beauty of this switcher for me , is I can use my iPhone to switch them.Over all , it is good for me.
