Sometimes it is a little picky about which cd's it wants to read right off the bat and which require several attempts. I was able to rip over a hundred cd's to a microSD card so I now have the music on my phone.

Well worth the price! WIN 7-WIN 10Wanted a cheap DVD drive. Got this guy, opening spring could be stronger(constantly pulling front loose, opening it-see pic). Not the quietest, but** works fine, just fine. On WIN 10, had slight issue getting it to burn using generic driver. After d/ling factory driver, worked great.No issue, using with WIN 7.Attatched USB cord is a nice touch.

I bought the dvd player mainly to supplement to my existing laptops since they no longer have dvd disks and for certain things I still need to access to Dvd. The product is qunite neat and serves the purpose of basic reads. It is compatiable with windows 10. According to the product description it should also fit for mac os. The black sleek design is also quite modern. The only needs to be careful about is that you may want to keep your hands clean and touch it other wise it will leave some marks.

I bought this CD drive to file my tax. It's pretty solid, and the USB cable is integrated with the CD drive, so I don't need to find the cable every time I use it. And I can hide the cable to the back of the CD drive which is a pretty smart design. When I insert the tax software CD, it loads pretty fast and stable. Love it!

Good value. It would be nice if the cord was longer and more flexible, but other than that it works well.

The external cd drive is easy to use, I use it to export my photo from cd to computer, with usb 3.0 the speed is very fast , that save me lot of time. To use this cd drive, basically just attached the usb to your computer like a hard drive. Easy to transfer files from cd and computer.

Hands down easy to use, light weight and overall AWESOME product. I love that it's external because my computer doesn't have one. With young kids it's nice to just put it away when I don't want them around it. I was curious if it would be hot, nope, it stays room temperature. Highly recommended!!!
