TL:DR - get it for the price. Period.(Minor Update - no, the bulb still working, fingers crossed, so not "after 2 days..." like I've stated before, but upon looking at another review before this one - prior to this update - was approved, it was mentioned that the reviewer didn't get 6 CIATA bulbs. ME NEITHER :( But these are all Made In China bulbs so I'm not as concerned...yet. 6 generic no brand name bulbs, just a box for each bulb with picture of the bulbs, model, specifications, and that was it.)Do I need 6 bulbs? No, unless I count the next 20 years (my 1st one burnt out after 3 years). I'm hoping that they do last long but I've no way to test (and I definitely don't want to test and re-review saying "after 2 days..."). Maybe I'll update this post in 20 years, if I remember and Amazon still exists ;)Package wise, all 6 bulbs were sent in a plastic bag package. It's then put in a shipping box ONLY BECAUSE I also bought something else (so I think it would just be the plastic bag package if it's the only thing purchased. I don't have Prime so have to get something over the $25 min shipping hump). Each bulb was individually packaged inside a paper box, and protected by a semi-thick cardboard inside the paper box.Strong illuminating white light and simple plug and use.If you don't have a lifespan that long, the same company also sells 4 bulbs for $18, so about $4.50 each, 2nd cheapest. That purchase however, has free shipping included (so no need Prime or $25 minimum purchase).

I have had this sunlight lamp for years. I actually broke the bulb while I was cleaning. The bulb had been in there for at least 10 years. I was happy to find one that fit perfect and gave my lamp a new life. I use it mostly for my plants, which sit next to my desk so it also helps me feel better with the light it shines on them.

A replacement was sent.

I've had 4 lamps that take these bulbs just sitting in storage because I refused to pay nearly $12 a piece for them. At $5 each, I decided I could replace all 4 & have 2 spare!

Great price and fast delivery. It was shaped a little different from our old one but the plug was the same and it works great!

The product will be used to replace my broken one.
