Beautifully Modern and Useful JA Henckels Forged Synergy Knife Set
This is a beautifully modern and useful JA Henckels Forged Synergy Knife Set. Bought this knife set for a young family for Christmas. This set is just about perfect, but for me I would need a bread knife and carving knife. It took quite awhile to be able to find this combination of knives and shears, which are of high quality. This is a great price for such an awesome set of knives. The knives are well balanced and are very sharp. They do not rust if you wash and dry by hand. It is like a nice piece of modern artwork on the counter.

J.A. Henckels Block set
This set is what I expected except for the steak knives. I am disappointed in that they are not the Forged Synergy. The feel is not what i expected. I am pleased with the other pieces.

Quality not equal for all the knives
All the knives are not as advertised as the steak knives seem much more cheaply made. The other knives are great.

The steak knives are not quite as good as the rest of the knives, but the main knives feel ideal. Very well crafted.

Dissaponted. Made in CHINA!!!!
I was given a Henckels knife set as a gift 15 years ago. Made in germany, love it and use it daily. Figured I'd buy one as a gift. FAIL! Made in china. WTF???? Quality not nearly as good as my old set. I would NOT have purchased this if was clearly stated as made in china and I'm embarrassed to give it as a gift.

Good knives
Top quality brand but without the ridiculous high prices on vanity knives. Would buy again for myself or as a gift.
